Located near the Blue Ridge Pkwy with great deck and view. Felt like staying in a tree house/cabin. The kitchen was missing a salad bowl for mixing, Pyrex casserole dish and dish washing cloth. We made the kitchen work for us and had a great stay.

Great stay and location

We enjoyed our stay so much! The outside views with the fire table was great and the Jacuzzi tub was very nice. The owner had plenty of towels and blankets and everything was neat and clean. The location was also awesome because it was less than 10 minutes from downtown. It was a perfect place for my husband and I for a weekend getaway.

Convenient Cabin Great Views

Perfect alternative to an expensive hotel in Asheville. Nice sized cabin with a great view of the mountains just minutes away from Grove Park Inn and Downtown Asheville. Celebrated our son’s first birthday here and can’t wait to come back!

Treetop Getaway

This place was a perfect location for stargazing, watching fireflies, and enjoying silence. It has everything needed for a quiet vacation, or it can be a fun play place as well. The tub was a great addition and the deck was perfect.

Tree Top Bungalow great location for mountain vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the tree top bungalow for our vacation. It was comfy and cozy, with a great view and outstanding location. The Blue Ridge Parkway was very close by as well as downtown Asheville. All of our needs were met, and we will definitely return in the future.

Tree house bungalow

Lovely octagonal bungalow half way up a mountain just a few minutes north of downtown. Wonderful view from the deck. Was a great base to explore Asheville and the surrounding area for a few days.

Great location with beautiful views!

I rented this property because my daughter had tickets to a show downtown. Everything was as described in the listing. It was perfect for us, just minutes away from downtown with beautiful mountain views from the deck. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view and bear watching

The house was very comfortable and only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. The view from the porch was the best part of all. We even watched a momma bear and cubs play in the trees while sitting on the porch. The area was very quiet and relaxing. I would love to stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Convenient Getaway

Clean and close to town made this a convenient little getaway spot for our weekend trip to Asheville with friends. The porch view and fire pit were the highlights. The bathroom could use updating, but was sufficient. Overall, not a bad place to use as a home base while checking out Asheville and the surrounding areas.

A Perfect Getaway! **My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing cozy and quaint place for 5 days and 4 nights, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect retreat for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation.One tip for future guests: be sure to bring your own washcloths and hand towels, as we like to have those for personal hygiene. It’s just a small detail that made our stay even more comfortable.Josh, our host, was exceptional! He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, with many wonderful restaurants nearby offering a variety of dining options in Asheville. If you prefer to cook, the fully functioning kitchen is a great asset, allowing you to prepare meals at your convenience.We have decided that this will be one of our near getaway spots!!!

Lovely cottage with an awesome view

Very clean and comfortable house- perfect for our visit to the area with my mother in law. The deck is especially nice with a gas fire pit and a lovely view. It feels far away from everything but is only a short drive from Asheville. The host was very responsive as well. We would love to have a chance to go back again sometime.

Very clean and cute cottage. The deck is a plus. We did see a few bears pass under the deck. Very close to downtown without the traffic noise. Only downside was the very narrow road and tight turns in the neighborhood. Small car recommended.

Some view!

Just 6 minutes from Asheville, we felt like we were in the Blue Ridge mountains. It was nicely appointed with a super comfortable bed and everything was fresh and clean. We especially loved sitting outside on the new deck every morning and evening listening to the birds and watching the changing view of the mountains. If we come back to Asheville, we will definitely stay there again.

Everything You Need, and A Great View

We spent a lovely, quiet 4 days here. It’s a cute, older round house with a sturdy, attractive new deck. For my husband and I, this woodsy mountain cabin on stilts was not too fancy or pretentious. It’s well-thought-out, pleasant and efficient. The beds and bedding are comfy and clean. It sits up on a mountain, but is surprisingly close to town. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Josh was great! He came very quickly when we had a slight issue. He fixed it without problems. The house was so cute and clean. The location was great to enjoy sitting outside and looking at the mountainview. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Convenient and Comfortable

A friend and I visited Asheville for the weekend and found this to be a nice and scenic alternative to staying downtown. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and it had all necessary items for our stay. Bears do travel through, so be sure to scan the area before exiting your vehicle. We saw a mama bear and her cub less than 5 feet from our car!

Beautiful setting in a secluded area.

It was hard to find first day. It was quiet with beautiful views. It was difficult to shower considering our age. Handicap bars should be installed to climb in and out of whirlpool tub. Water pressure was extremely low. Enjoyed the mother black bear with her two cubs. My wife, sister and I overall enjoyed our week stay.
