I have stayed here many nights. I have been here 2 days now and no hot water. The staff is very polite about it, however i asked about an extended 2 days compensation and noone can give that approval. The water is down until monday and i am booked here to checkout on monday. I would appreciate an extra 2 day stay to compensate the inconvenience of having to heat water to bathe in the microwave. I fell that is a more then adequate request. It has always been a great place to stay. It is clean and convenient to most locations.the staff are good people too..just not my idea of fair, since rhe rooms are nonrefundable.

The staff at Roadway was very kind. I had to get my keycard reactivated and they didn't hesitate to do so. I say that because ive had bad experiences at other places. I am staying there again soon. No smoking inside and there wasn't a lot of noise. The area is in a busy area, however it seemed as though i was isolated. Thank you to the young lady who assisted me, i was an hour early for check in and she didn't have a problem with that at all.

Hotel is located across from Asheville Outlet so there’s plenty of shopping. Our room was very clean and updated. Only negative is there wasn’t a coffee maker in our room. We would definitely stay again.

First let me say I am a VERY PICKY when it comes to new areas and hotels. My biggest fear are bed bugs and unsanitary areas. We did not stay at the property, as they misrepresented the room. We rented a king suite for 3 people since every suite we have rented has a fold out couch. This Rodeway Inn however did not. We called the front desk and the woman said when they replaced the couches they chose to go with regular ones. My husband said we all couldn't sleep in the bed and she asked if one of us could sleep on the floor. We decided to leave because we all did not have a bed and sleeping on the floor was NOT an option. Now we are out a night's sleep since we have to drive 4 hours home in the middle of the night and out almost $300.00 for a hotel room we never slept in.

The hotel has been recently redone and the room was fine. We had a leaky shower but not a big deal. The hallway and elevator smelled really strongly of smoke. It also seemed like there were a lot of people who were living there full time. A drunk guy wanted to start a fight with us on the parking lot (the parking lot behind the building has a lot of abandoned cars in the grass and was sketchy). I definitely wouldn't have been comfortable there alone or if our kids had been with us.

Location was great especially with two dogs (petco is in front of the hotel). They are in the end stages of remodeling I believe, which didn’t bother us. Our issues were the lingering moldy/mildew smell throughout the building and room. The a/c unit buttons were non existent so we had no way of adjusting the air in our room. The staff did bring us a fan so that helped a bit. There was no tv remote and were able to get a new remote the second night we were there. The bedding was extremely itchy as well. The staff was nice and helpful but I wouldn’t stay again.

This is the one of the worst properties I ever stayed at. First of all, lots of things broken in the room, dirty carpet and terrible service. We stayed there for 2 nights and nobody came to clean it up after 1 night. In the super early morning (around 3am), one kid on our floor went rampant and made noises for the next hour. Despite multiple attempts to reach front desk for help, the line was always busy somehow. For anyone looking for a place to stay, pay a little extra if you want to a much better overall experience. Avoid this place at all costs!

First room had a tv that only played in Spanish. I was moved to another room that was hot as hell. I turned the air conditioner on and it was loud as can be. It woke me up every time it kicked on. Behind the bathroom door was filthy and the toilet leaked! I should get some money back!

Room was advertised as two queens and a twin sofa bed. After checking in and going to the room to find no sofa bed was a sock. Asked the front desk about getting our room with with the sofa bed and she looked at me funny and said we don’t have sofa beds. She said maybe that was before they remodeled. Well, not having a third bed is very inconvenient when you have two adult and three children.the lady at the front desk didn’t seem to care we were completely short a bed. Maybe try fixing your website information on Expedia.

Ah, where do I begin? For starters, I am never one to complain, but I feel that this review is necessary due to safety concerns at this hotel. I enters my room (304) to find crumbs and hair throughout the bed. It was clear that the bed had been slept in after being made, and that someone forgot to clean up their mess. I went on to find a shower covered with hair and dirt from the previous occupants, and later, some black mold on the pillows and mattress. However, these were very minor concerns in my book. I was thinking, cheap hotel - you get what you pay for. But then, the icing on the cake. Not once, but TWICE - people entered my room in the middle of the night. Initially, the staff double booked my room, and a young woman and her small children entered my room during night time hours. Then, when that woman told the hotel staff that the room was occupied, the receptionist at the front proceeded to then enter our room herself. This was an extreme invasion of privacy and could have ended much worse had either party had malicious intent. Luckily, we remained level headed toward staff, despite the utter carelessness. I have learned two life lessons from this trip: 1. Always lock the mortise lock in a hotel. 2. NEVER stay at a Rodeway Inn!

What I did not like was that the desk clerks confused me with another client of the same name and charged me for my 2 day stay and for her 3 day stay. So my 294.00 for 2 nights and 15.00 for pets became 774.05 plus the pet fee of 20.00 per night (that Expedia advertised for 15.00 per night). Needless to say. I was upset. I called and the person I spoke to told me what happened and assured me that I would not be charged for anything except the 294.00 and the pet fee overage would be refunded.

Better to find a friendly Hostel
I was first given a room right near the front lobby where I would have been in earshot of every exchange in and out the front door. The room looked USED with crumpled beds and a STRONG ODOR OF CIGARETTES. I REFUSED IT.Next I was taken to a nearby room a bit further from the lobby. It was cleaner-looking but still a faint smell of smoke. There were no bath towels and one tiny bar of soap. No bath mat. Coffee-maker was broken. Voices around me and doors opening and closing routinely. Overall— it was highly unsatisfactory. I should have checked out immediately but I had just had eye surgery and couldn’t drive.
