The view from the front porch was absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself was very cozy, well furnished with older appliances. It could definitely use a comfier mattress and a better showerhead, but besides that, it is an absolute steal given the price.

We had a lovely time in Haw Creek. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and Janet and her family are wonderful hosts. We loved watching the many birds and wildlife around us.

The cottage was very cute and very clean. The location was very quiet and had a beautiful view. It was perfect for our 2-night stay. If we go back to Asheville, we will likely stay here again. We didn't have to contact the host for anything.

A wonderful little cottage with great Mountain View’s but yet so close to everything. You really feel like you are in the mountains- loved the bear, wild turkeys and other wild life that we saw from the porch. Will definitely stay there again.

Cute cottage with bear family visits!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, which was very clean and nicely decorated. The location was great for our Asheville activities. The highlight for us was definitely watching a mama bear and her 5 cubs each day as they ate breakfast up in the trees or played in the yard/surrounding valley.

My family and I loved this charming cabin for a quick weekend getaway. Janet was very helpful with any questions or issues we had during our stay. The cabin is just an 8-10 minute drive from downtown Asheville. If I ever return to Asheville, I will definitely rebook with Janet.

My sister & I stayed in the cabin for 2 nights. It was nicely decorated. The bed I slept in was very comfortable! I found the location to be convenient for our stay! If I'm ever in the area, I would 100% stay here again!

Ideal Stay

Wonderful place to stay! Centrally located to multille different hikes ans an easy drive to downtown Asheville. The cottage was cozy with all of the amenities needed for a great stay. The best part by far though was the wild life. Being able to show our child siting of turkeys and black bears was an amazing experience. Thank you!
