Great weekend at Peaceful Perch

This house made for a fantastic getaway to Asheville. The house is beautifully updated and the owner was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. It is a great location very close to downtown but in a quite neighborhood with parking. We were very happy with our stay here and would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the downtown area of Asheville.

Wow, this place truly was lovely. If you're looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. The best part is that the location provides the best of both worlds as it is a short 5 min drive to all things downtown as well. From start to finish, the level of detail paid to creating a serene atmosphere here is kind of astounding. The garden is absolutely beautiful the mountain top sunsets we watched there were intense to say the least! Indoors, the furnishings are a mix of eclectic and mid century modern. Noting here that the attention given to making this place memorable with what appears to be collected treasures was impressive. Finally, the neighborhood itself was quiet enough to hear a baby bird yawn, and yet the home's location is only down the street from all the action.It's mentioned that that owner of the home lives in the downstairs portion but we would have been none the wiser as we heard exactly zero human noise other than our own, and that of some jovial neighbors for just a few moments during daylight hours.We were in town for a show, and after each of those very long two days the shower was calming, spacious, and hot. And the beds were so comfortable I don't think I moved once after I drew the black out curtains, and finally closed my eyes for the night. To recap, more adjectives I'd use to describe this place: Cozy, Artistic, Creative, Thoughtful, and what's a word for beyond comfortable?... Chef's kiss.. Would stay again would certainly recommend!

Bittersweet review

My wife and I stayed over the Valentines weekend and I could not say enough great things about this property. The check-in process and communication to begin the stay way so easy and accommodating. The he property itself was fantastic. The design of the interior was just the vibe my wife and I needed as we came to Asheville for three days of music and fun. After enjoying everything downtown Asheville had to give, it was great to return to this peaceful perch on the hillside where we could relax and take in some beautiful sunrises and sets.I labeled this review as bittersweet as I love this property and would like to make it my regular mountain getaway but I know these great reviews (which the property and management deserve) will have everyone waiting to stay here. If you are on the fence or are between two properties for your Asheville stay just choose this place as you will not be disappointed.

So Clean & Wonderful

I enjoyed my stay here very much. I was so impressed with how clean the house was! 10 out of 10 for sure. I would recommend this place to anyone the house is a good size for a small family or couple. The yard was so put together as well.

Home Away Fro Home.

I had a delightful stay in beautiful, Asheville. Ellis was the perfect host who I think of as a friend. The neighborhood was friendly and walkable to downtown Asheville. The house is beautifully decorated with loving care. The kitchen fully equipped. I could not have imagined a more hospitable stay.

Home Sweet Home! shhhh, don't tell anyone! :-)

I must say, I always regret leaving glowing reviews for places we love to visit because they always seem to add inflationary costs to our returning visits :-) With that said, it would be a disservice to Ellis if I didn't. So, without further ado... This place is everything the previous reviews spoke of and more. Ellis is as warm and welcoming as anyone could ask for. You'll have every amenity your home has and won't miss a thing while in the comfort of Peaceful Perch. Besides the comforts of this well appointed home and stylish decor, you'll get even more excited about its amazing proximity to the buzz of downtown Asheville and the views from Beaucatcher Heights... all within walking distance of Peaceful Perch. Enjoy Peaceful Perch, We did! PROS: "Ellis" A Great resource for everything Asheville and Beyond! Perfect place for Couples Cooking w/Full Kitchen Washer & Dryer Two Queen Beds (just in case you end up disagreeing one evening with your partner) HD 50" LG SMART TV (No Cable but if you have a personal account... Netflix & Amazon Prime!) Internet: 30 Mbs download 5 Mbs upload Well Designed Living Space & Decor CONS: None, other than my opinion... I forget how this home is marketed with regard to quantity of occupancy and Ellis can correct me if I'm misinforming... Two people will really enjoy this space... if you invite a third adult or have one or two non-harmful children, you will also really enjoy this space but then everything bathroom(1) related could become an issue. Perfect Perch

My first visit to Asheville was made all the more perfect by having this unique little hide-a-way as my home base. Nestled up in the hills, but very close to downtown I was able to relax outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown life but was also a quick five minute drive or twenty minute walk from all the fine restaurants and the pin ball museum. Ellis was a very attentive host and checked in to make sure everything was going well during my stay.

Beautifully Furnished and Close to Downtown

This house near downtown was immaculately furnished and prepared for us with every detail thought out down to small instruction on everything in the house. Ellis was kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and we look forward to returning to Asheville!

Peaceful Perch is truly a special nest in a magical city! Ellis has created a space that greets everyone with comfort, warmth and appreciation with his attention to detail & design. Peaceful Perch is conveniently located, just a short walk to downtown or a quick Uber if needed. Bonus for sure are the views all around the house. Beautiful and convenient

Cozy, clean, and quaint bungalow home close to town!

My husband and I decided to rent this home vs. the typical hotel stay for our 12th Wedding Anniversary. We are so glad we did! It was our first time in Asheville and it was just perfect. The inside is immaculate and you will have no problem figuring out where things are or how to work things. The owner has everything labeled and makes it so easy for you. The kitchen in particular was gorgeous. We would highly recommend this home for a couple who wants a quiet get a way with an easy walk to town. Ellis, the owner, gave us restaurant recommendations and was so easy to work with. He definitely takes pride in his rental home! Don't miss out on this 5 star cozy get a way!

Made a business conference trip a vacation

We came to Asheville for a business conference being held downtown and decided to look for lodging other than a hotel. Peaceful Perch was a fantastic option and we loved having our own little 'home' just down the road from the conference. After spending a day listening to speakers, it was such a welcome getaway to escape to Peaceful Perch and the amenities offered. The house was beautifully decorated and extremely welcoming. The owner has done a phenomenal job putting together this rental and truly has thought about the comfort of his guests. We will definitely book here again the next time we are in Asheville!

Beautiful, peaceful, convenient

Peaceful Perch exceeded our expectations. Ellis left no stone unturned when putting together this beautiful home, he thought of every detail (down to make up removal towels, towel warmer, etc.). The extra special attention paid to detail made it seem like we were in a 5 star hotel, but to be able to have our own house with our own yard was priceless. The kitchen is beautiful and was more than what we could have asked for. A convenient walk to downtown, breweries, restaurants, and shopping; yet positioned where you can sit in the yard and watch the sunset over the mountains and have a great view of the town. The house had a private driveway, which was nice to leave the car (free) with no concerns. I would recommend this home and would 100% rent this home again. I can sum it up best by our response to an Uber driver: he asked when we would be leaving, our response was "if we had it our way, never".

Peaceful Perch is an amazing place to stay. It is 3 minutes from all the downtown restaurants which makes it extremely convenient. The interior is nicely decorated and cozy. Ellis is a great host and is only a phone call or text away if you need anything. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in Asheville that is close to downtown and isn't too noisy.

Beautiful and convenient to downtown

If you are looking for a weekend getaway, Peaceful Perch is an amazing cottage. It is incredibly decorated and just minutes walk to everything downtown. Malak was a great host that offered impeccable recommendations for restaurants. You will NOT be disappointed!
