Amazing location, walking distance to everything we wanted to do downtown. Secure, tidy and chic. We enjoyed our stay and comments several times to each other how fantastic the location is.
We absolutely loved our stay. Location was perfect you’re literally in the heart of the happening area. Stay was wonderful, host thought of everything. We plan to stay again on our next visit to Asheville.
We had a great stay here! Nice, clean, and surprisingly quiet given its downtown location. Very convenient location to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.
This property was wonderful. Excellent location- loved the wine bar on Thursday night, Green Sage for breakfast. The property is well kept up and very clean. The bed is comfortable. The ledge for the shower is very high and if you are short it is a stretch.
My wife and I have stayed at the Sinclair numerous times, and it's always a delight. The new owners have kept the place just as clean and inviting as ever. Highly recommended to couples who are looking to explore downtown Asheville.

Peter and Constance's place was a dream--loved the high ceiling, living/kitchen space, and location just to name a few highlights. You can see and feel all the thoughtful touches thorough out the space. Would love to stay again when we come back to Asheville. Thank you!
This spacious modern loft-style property is spotless. The bed is comfortable and we enjoyed the short walk to delicious restaurants and shopping in the downtown area. The communication was clear. If you’re looking for a great spot to stay during a trip to Asheville, you cannot beat this one. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. Wonderful experience.
We loved our location and the very MCM/Modern apartment. Lots of stairs but location is superb. Even if you love hiking Pisgah National Forest is not far. Lots of shops, restaurants and breweries to explore. Wish we had had more days to explore the River Arts District, shops and local breweries. We’ll be back soon I hope.
This may be the best overall VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Location - A+. Cleanliness - A+. Communication/Helpfulness of Owner - A+ (he even offered to pull our car out of the tight garage). All the ‘extras’ I hope for and appreciate in a rental home were provided, and the space was lovely. So thoroughly impressed. I will definitely book this one again!
This met (or exceeded!) all our expectations - clean, modern, comfortable - esp. the mattress, and the location put most of downtown Asheville within walking distance. Having the parking space was definitely a plus; we have a RAV4, and it fit. Peter, the owner, was fabulous at communicating, a trait that I look for in the properties we rent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
This was our third stay at the Sinclair and we will definitely be back. We are huge fans!. Directions to the Sinclair are easy. Centrally located in Downtown Asheville. Love the amenities, the design and the space of our unit. We really adore everything about the Sinclair. Everything is comfortable, absolutely clean. Nothing seems worn out or dingy. Everything seems new and bright, like it's all been freshly made for us. The Sinclair is not only our favorite place to stay in AVL, it's the only place we'll stay.
Excellent rental, all our needs were anticipated. The furnishings were attractive, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed, nice appliances, stocked with the basics. Bright open floor plan. Did not feel like we were staying in someone else's home. Don't like that.
There is a bodega down the street a few blocks. Very central location. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. While there seem to be a lot of homeless in downtown Asheville, we felt safe. The neighborhood gets noisy on weekends, but the windows are double-paned.
Overall, we highly recommend. If we return to Asheville we would stay here again.
This property is in a perfect location. It's located not far from one end of all the major shopping and restaurants famous in Asheville, near the A/C and Kimpton hotels. It comes with a covered secured parking (although bring a small call as the space is tight). The building and the condo are bright, open, and airy. The condo is chock full of high tech wizardry, so if you do not like bluetooth, cooling lighting or automatic blinds, find some place else to stay. Although you will find a binder with explicit instructions for all the gadgets/appliances, etc. in the condo. The host was reachable and communicative at all stages of planning and during the stay. We appreciated the French Press coffee maker and the creamer supplied by the host.
We will definitely be back and hope to stay longer next time to enjoy all the comforts of the location and the condo!
We've stayed here before but probably not again. We are getting too old to do the stairs. We are sorry too because it has everything we loved about staying there. It isn't for elderly which I hate to admit we are getting there faster than we hoped!!!
The location was fantastic, and Mike was a great host. He let us stay late because my friends flight got canceled. He is a no stress host and I will stay there whenever I visit Asheville again.
