Room was clean, shower was nice, TV offered good options. Front desk staff were rude. Pool was not operational one day and freezing once it was operational. Lobby was nice and complimentary breakfast was very basic (partly due to Covid).
I didn’t like anything. This hotel was closed but Expedia booked us anyways. Got there and the hotel was about to be bulldozed. Huge inconvenience on our travel.
Kari, the gal that checked me in was nice. Our room was clean, the pool water was crystal clear. The rest of the property needs help. Pick up trash, stop looking like a drug rehab center.
We checked in but didn’t stay. Unsafe with homeless and room smelled, bed looked like someone laid in it walls and doors filthy. Don’t stay here! Friends room had no towels and holes in sheets, light not working. Wyndham should be ashamed to have this place associated with their name! Anything on Tunnel St is filled with homeless! Was told by an uber driver that transients allowed to stay here during the week! We drove 26 miles to stay in Arden at the Courtyard by Marriott where we had a great stay.
The bathroom was filthy. The towels were threadbare. The carpet dirty and the sheets had a red stain on them which were plain to see-I was told it was a rust stain. Even so, the fitted sheet should not have been used. The worst of it all was the bathtub! It’s the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! It was quite an eye opener.
I don’t really expect much from a days inn—they are all pretty old and in disrepair—but when I get ripped off financially as well I have to say something. I prepaid for a king room on hotels.com via PayPal and when I went to check in, was informed a king room wasn’t available and was assigned to double room 111 (this room has a really strange stain on the bathtub so I wouldn’t shower while I was there). Then the hotel charged my debit card (shown for “incidentals”) for the room AGAIN so now I have paid for the wrong room TWOCE. When I called the hotel to explain I had been double billed, the desk clerk who
Answered claimed I had been a “no
Show”—this will be news to the desk clerk
And maintenance. Guy on duty, who kept having to bring new key cards for us to get in the room because none of them worked in the room lock. Since I can’t get a response from either hotels.com or the hotel, I filed a dispute with PayPal in the hopes of getting one of the charges reversed so I at least only paid for the crappy/wrong room once.
The hotel room was very dirty. The parking lot LED lights were set in strobe and when I asked about this I was told it was on purpose. I barely got any sleep because of this. I was only able to shower once due to not getting new towels (even though the first ones didn’t look washed). Overall this was not worth the money spent.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in the size of the beds. I was also upset that the room beside us being they were smoking weed so much it came through our vent which we had a 5 year old with us. They also partied and argued all night causing us to not get sleep. We also were disappointed with the vending machines because the homeless people were sleeping beside the machines.
The staff was nice and the price was affordable but the conditions were terrible. There was black mold growing in the A/C units, the shower drain was clogged with hair and there were no stoppers for the sinks. The rooms smelled unclean and like smoke. There were homeless people walking around everywhere. It was pretry disappointing.
Very disappointed that the front desk "macho night manager" put us in a ROACH INFESTED room, my son slept in the car after killing 25 roaches; there were no towels nor toilet paper in the room.
My mother was not feeling well, so we dealt with it the first night. The next morning the house keeping staff and front desk lady were GREATLY helpful and moved us immediately to a newly cleansed room.
It was the craziest experience ever. We got our room. After a couple hours the ac started splitting out water on the floor. We went to front desk to ask for a different room. Then he finally gave us another room. We went to that room which a couple people were in it. So we go back to front desk. Finally he gave us the room that couple had the keys to. Finally we get to the room. Everything worked fine, but we had no towels. Then at breakfast that was par. Still hotel had no towels.
This is an older hotel that needs some TLC. Terribly understaffed. It took almost 25 minutes to get checked in and the gentleman at the front desk was struggling with the computer. He was having problems accepting credit cards. We finally got to the room and there were no towels, a cigarette burn on one of the comforter covers and later we found that the carpet was soaked under the A/C. It was late, a Friday night, and we had a pet with us so we just made the best of it.
The property is very run down and filthy. We couldn’t stay. We immediately took our stuff back to the car and left. No towels, hair in the beds, gaps under the door, greasy food fingerprints and hair on the phone, which didn’t work, severely outdated, dirty and drippy bathroom. My husband looked at me and said, I can’t sleep here. We drive 2.5 more hours to Columbia to get a different hotel.
Old outdated rooms in which some of the things were in disrepair or just old. The overall layout of the motel was nice with a nice pool located centrally. The beds were not comfortable but the room was clean and the rate was cheap for the area. The concierge, Gail was super nice, welcoming and helpful.
It’s Horrible!! Don’t stay!! Nasty!! No towels in rooms had to hunt someone down to get them! The coffee pot in room still had the stuff in it from who knows when. Homeless people doing drugs everywhere! Stuff Rude and hateful!! The chain just needs to shut it down! We have stayed in Days inn in other places and have been pleased. But this one is a disgrace to the chain!!
