Asheville getaway

We were there with friends from the UK on a little tour. Did not want a hotel experience and The Beaufort House fit the bill perfectly! The staff was always available, well informed in the goings on in town, Biltmore Estate and dining recommendations etc. This all made for a most enjoyable excursion to the Great Smokey mountains of N.C.

Believe it or not the toilet for our room was actually in the shower with only a curtain to keep the water from splashing. Had to step over a 8 inch threshold to get into the combined shower/toilet. Very dangerous at night. Breakfast was just an average continental breakfast.

The Inn is a beautiful historic inn that has been wonderfully preserved. The staff is friendly & the breakfasts were great! It’s conveniently located to downtown & the interstate to go to other towns like Black Mountain & Chimney Rock.
