Find Looking Glass Rock. At night, under a spectacular starlit sky, see the lonely lights glowing out of the wilderness at the Pisgah Inn. Sit back in the therapeutic hot tub and take in the quiet solitude of our 2.8 acre mountain retreat . Enjoy the sound of our landscaped babbling creek. Step back in time in Brevard’s beautiful and historic downtown located just minutes from this mountain getaway. Staying with us awhile longer? Visit Asheville, Hendersonville, Greenville, or Waynesville, all less than an hour’s drive away. Hike, bike, swim, kayak or just relax. This home offers all the creature comforts you expect and access to more activities than you’ll have time for. You’ll just have to come back next year! Most dogs are welcome. Please Note: $100 PET FEE. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms.

We’re repeat guests at this property and would not want to stay anywhere else now that we’ve found this place! It is so clean and the amenities are perfect. It’s very easy to feel at home here so you can just relax and enjoy the outdoors. We love the peace and privacy of this property while still being close to town/entertainment, breweries, grocery stores, bike trails, etc.

Family Getaway

Such a wonderful retreat

We have stayed here for many years and the home is always, consistently a beautiful place to relax and unplug. There’s a great kitchen, a hot tub, a wood burning fireplace, and that spectacular view of the mountains. We always feel at home here.

A wonderful stay after The Bard in Western North Carolina had experienced a horrible time

Had a great stay at a great location just outside of Brevard North Carolina with wonderful Mountain views. Host worked with us after Hurricane Helene caused problems in Western North Carolina to make our stay great. Brevard had just opened up and we had a great time in the city.

Perfect multi-generation vacation!

Our family was lucky enough to spend 2 amazing weeks at Acorn's retreat! It's a perfect vrbo property... super clean, super comfortable, super stocked. Amazing views and very helpful hosts. The upstairs/downstairs layout is very comfortable and allowed everyone to have their own space. I wouldn't change a thing and can't wait to go back!

Peaceful mountain getaway

We have stayed at this property many times over several years and return again for the peaceful setting with beautiful views of Pisgah Mountains. We love the privacy and the relaxed vibe of the neighborhood that is easy access to Brevard, Hendersonville, Dupont Forest, Davidson River areas. The owners are very gracious hosts who maintain a clean and safe property. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Acorn’s Retreat is a beautifully appointed, comfortable, spacious mountain home. The views are beautiful from the back deck, with glorious sunsets. Exceptional Property & Hosts

We were so pleased with our stay at Acorn's Retreat. The property is beautiful; the furnishings are fashionable, comfortable, and clean; and the kitchen is stocked with all the equipment needed to cook and to entertain. A new feature that may not yet be listed on the profile is a fire pit area outfitted with paver steps and platform and racks of cut wood. In every detail of the property, it is quite clear that the hosts have considered and attended to the comfort, enjoyment, and possible needs of their guests. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer on this trip. We will definitely return to Acorn's Retreat when we travel to the Brevard area again.

Beautiful mountain vistas

Beautiful mountain vistas through a bank of windows were your reward for making the long, steep, winding drive from the road through the neighborhood. The house is well kept, spacious and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped. The wildlife was entertaining, and the flowing artificial creek was charming. Plenty of towels, movies and puzzles provided.

Juan and Carmen’s home was beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. Acorn’s Retreat is a beautiful home in one of the best neighborhoods that offers seclusion and privacy while only about 15 minutes from Downtown Brevard! The owners ensure you are well cared for by thinking of all the creature comforts making you feel welcomed and at ease! My family and I do not typically stay at the same location more than once, but because our first stay was so amazing, we rebooked and had an equally amazing stay this year!

Look no further!

Acorn's Retreat, named in honor of the owners' cute dog, is special.The house is lovely, spacious, well-organized and immaculate. The wonderful kitchen is amazing and well-equipped, and everything you need for a perfect vacation is thoughtfully provided. The artwork and the decor is beautiful and interesting. The grounds are incredible and the views spectacular. Carmen and Juan are terrific hosts and quickly answered any questions we had. It's by far the most outstanding vacation home we have ever stayed in and it was the highlight of our trip to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain region.

Luxurious and Welcoming Mountain Retreat

Acorn’s Retreat is 10/10! My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with our golden retriever and all of us wish we could have stayed longer. This beautiful cabin is the perfect combination of casual and luxury. The property is spotless and meticulously well-kept, and the hosts have thought of every imaginable convenience to offer their guests. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the spa-like shower, and we made several wonderful meals on the Blackstone grill. We also loved how close the cabin was to downtown Brevard and all of the local shops, restaurants, and breweries. We would love to stay here again, but this time we will definitely book a longer stay!

Wonderful Family House

The property was absolutely amazing! I believe this was the best VRBO property I have ever had the opportunity to stay at. The kitchen was more than stocked with everything that was needed to cook any type of meal. The weather was not ideal (rainy), but we took advantage of the lovely fireplace. I don't normally travel with dogs, but my son brought along his for one night and I couldn't believe the dog-friendly amenities that were provided. I hope all those who stay here with dogs follow the rules so that it is not ruined for others traveling with their beloved pet. We had a wonderful time and Brevard was a total surprise and delight. We will definitely come again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you to the hosts of Acorn's Retreat!

Since we enjoyed our last visit over a year ago, we returned and continued to experience a great stay with our dog. The house is clean, comfortable and well prepped for everything we could have wanted. The neighborhood is quiet and excellent for dog walks. You definitely are living amongst the wildlife. Deer and white squirrels are spotted daily. Really dark at night, so the stars were beautiful to see on the back porch. Even saw shooting stars and satellites. Experienced no issues with the WiFi. Good location to downtown, Pisgah and DuPont and within ~1hr drive to almost everything (from Highlands to Lake Lure). The Christmas lights downtown were cute. Favorite return eateries, Cedar Mountain Cafe and Blue Ridge Bakery.

We had a fantastic, peaceful stay at Acorn's Retreat. The home is beautifully designed and maintained and the views are amazing. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-outfitted for all types of cooking. We loved all the art, and the beds are pretty and comfortable. The primary shower is luxurious and spacious! After long hikes each day, we rested our muscles in the pristine hot tub - just perfect. Juan and Carmen were responsive, kind and flexible. We hope to come back again!
