Perfect location and a very comfortable house. We had family come from various locations and the house provided everyone with enough space . Large rooms, beautiful deck (upper and lower) that put you right in the canopy. The common areas were huge and it never felt crowded. Enough space to hang out and socialize, as well as quiet space for those who needed it. Highly recommend and would stay again without hesitation.
Things we liked about the house: layout, location, hot tub and deck.
Things we didn't like: cleanliness, downstairs needed a dehumidifier, there was a lot of deferred maintenance and a mystery dog just showed up in the dog run and howled.
This house was nestled away in a beautiful location in the woods, yet close to all the Asheville things to do. Many reviewers have stated the house needs some TLC/updating, which we agree. The good news is that the owners are undertaking making that so. It will be fun to watch what they do as we would definitely stay here again after the updates.

Old house, needs alot of work
Old house in a convenient and beautiful setting, within minutes of many activities. Many bugs in the basement downstairs where 3 bedrooms are. They had septic issues prior to our arrival prompting having the tank emptied during our stay, smell permeated the premises. Lots of ants in the kitchen that got into our food, this house needs some TLC

Spacious Comfortable House!
The house was beautiful and spacious as a homebase for the many outdoor activities we did in the area and Beyond. Enjoyed our stay. Excellent for families to gather.
This was a great spot for our family to spend graduation weekend (UNC Asheville). Plenty of room, a real "mountain cabin" feel and just a few minutes from main roads into town.
Property is in a great location to check out Ashville and also find plenty of local hiking trails. Porches and hot tub were great for the family.

Great location
This cabin was in a great location and was spacious enough to comfortably fit our group. We loved the beautiful views from the deck. We enjoyed the close proximity to Asheville attractions. We would definitely recommend.
Everything as promised was present in the home. The property owners were very responsive and able to assist with every request or question we had. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods! Great location!
Gathered with a group of 10 for craft beer and White water rafting in Asheville. The cabin was awesome! Great location and very clean and comfortable. We were greeted by wild turkeys in the morning and great views in the afternoon! It was a wonderful visit and would suggest to anyone!
This property makes you feel like you staying out in the woods but you are only a short drive to Asheville! It had plenty of room for our family that we were able to enjoy time together but spacious enough for finding space to be just relax as well. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy the outdoors .
Perfect place to get away from it all. Our family of ten easily fit into this property. Some were able to work, while others played. Plenty of room for everyone. Place was clean and very convenient to Asheville and the surrounding attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, wonderful vacation
We loved our vacation in Asheville. This house was clean, comfortable, fully equipped and set in a beautiful private location with mountain views.
The owners had a guide providing local services, restaurants, and nearby activites. We found their suggestions very helpful as we chose our activites in and around Asheville.
Five stars!

Beautiful and relaxing
Your home is very lovely and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 2 children in our party, two more adults would have fit in with no problems. It was not too far from wide variety of restaurants, shopping or site seeing. I would definitely recommend your home to any one visiting Asheville NC.
Great location and well stocked home. Owner incredibly responsive. However the home is a bit worn with older mattresses, musty smell and needed a refresh.
We really enjoyed our stay in this home. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The large living room/dining table was great for gathering. Very secluded and private. The decor is a bit dated, but everything was clean and in working order. The owner is very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!
Exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Beautiful home with lots of room. Fantastic views of the valley and mountains. Comfortable. Close to Asheville . . . but not too close. Very private. GET READY FOR A GREAT TIME!!!

Family vacation
Beautiful location in the woods. Private retreat, just perfect for nature lovers and those who want to get away from "city" life, yet close enough to Asheville to enjoy all that it has to offer. We had 6 adults, an infant and a 2 year old and found the house spacious enough for individual privacy and family gatherings. We spent most of our time together upstairs, but the lower level would be perfect for teens. Loved that one of the rooms had a crib for an infant.
multi generations gathered together. The house was beautiful with plenty of room. Traveled with my 88 year old father, husband, adult children and their spouses. Love that there were two levels so younger set had their own space. Had some issues but the manager quickly addressed them and our stay was wonderful. TV in master bedroom was too complicated for us to enjoy an addition of a roku would have been welcomed so we could stream easily.

Perfect place for our reunion!
This house was perfect for our high school reunion of 10. Many laughs and memories were created. Not only was it the perfect setting for all of us to rest our heads but conveniently located within minutes to Asheville, the Biltmore, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Weaverville - all spots we visited together. Everything we needed was provided including wild turkeys:) We had a great time and the consensus is we will be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Lindy Smith

Wedding Party
The house was big enough for all of us and had a great layout. The decking needed repair and a shower head did not work. There were lots of bugs in the globes above the dinning table.
