First time staying at the westgate. There are a lot of issues with this hotel. First of which is the check in process. Took entirely too long and was unaware of the $100 deposit on top of the $150 resort fee. Gentleman at the front seemed nice enough so no issues there. Second, the room was disgusting, carpet wasn’t clean, the restroom was musty and the room was awkwardly warm? Like the AC was turned off so the room was sweating? It was the weirdest thing. It seemed like the ac was turned off right before we got there so the heat coming in from the window made the whole room feel wet. Also housekeeping did not come by the room a single time. The only positive was since we were in Vegas for a convention, we were almost never in the room. I think we were in there a total of 12 hours over 3 days. Casino was a casino, the tables were very affordable and fun. But PLEASE for the love of god, do not expect to get more than one drink an hour. The waitresses are SOOOOOO slow and you are not able to get more than one drink to account for the slow waitress. But from a purely gambling standpoint, the casino itself allows for multiple playstyles. Overall, if I had a choice, I wouldn’t stay here again. Only reason I know I’ll be back, is because I’m going back next year and this hotel is the closest and most affordable. Hopefully the hotel gets a facelift by then.

The first time we stayed was amazing this time the room was in pretty bad shape. Missing tiles, bad patch work, missing light covers! Honestly thought this would be my go do after the last stay but now sure now!

Property had all the basics. Housekeeping only came to my room once. Called the front desk to ask their schedule and was told they come everyday for express cleaning and every 4 for total cleaning. They did oral on the first night and never returned the other 3. The front desk said they would put in an order for express cleaning (new towels, taking trash) but they still never came. At checkout, I wasn’t asked how my experience was so glad for this survey. Again, basic property. Good poker room and tournaments!
