"Our stay at Plaatsje in het Mesnerhuis was simply delightful! The house was spacious and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the stunning natural surroundings, We loved that it had a shared kitchen where we could prepare meals together, The nearby dining options, like Auszeit and Eiscafe Cortina, were fantastic for quick bites too, The location is perfect for nature lovers and active holidaymakers—there's so much to do! "Located near to all the great things in Munich, but neighborhood feels a little “off” from the rest of Munich. It’s a boarding house and the entrance is adjacent to what seems to be a hookah bar, so there is an odd smell to everything. The apartment was good for 3 large beds.However, the apartment was not clean: empty water bottles and coffee cups in several areas. Dark hairs left in the sinks and tub. Shower curtain is moldy and stained and didn’t look washed after prior guests. Upon arrival...

"I'd like to know what privileged lives people are leading, when they say the area around the hotel isn't safe. Munich is a big, multicultural city and the people in the area reflect that, but we never once felt unsafe, even when arriving back to the train station at 10pm with my 5-year old in tow. The convenience to the train station cannot be overstated - it's SO easily accessible which made day trips to Salzburg and Neuschwanstein a breeze. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure is *strong*, and they held our bags at the end of our stay for free. Honestly, I have very few negative things to say about our stay. Yes, the indoor pool is cold - but I'm inclined to think that's on purpose, for you to enjoy after the sauna (which we didn't use). Yes, we paid a nominal fee to check in early at 10am. But there was air conditioning AND an electric tea kettle in our room, so you won't find me complaining. All in all, this was an excellent value for the location, quality, and amenities. "
