"We had booked this hotel after staying at the Hyatt Detroit Royal Oak. Wrong decision… the website showed a bar, the eatery restaurant, and a pool. We arrived in the evening and planned on just eating at the hotel. I asked about the bar at check-in, they said the bar is closed (no license), we asked about the restaurant, was told it’s only breakfast. The girls wanted to swim, well the pool was closed for maintenance. We were told last night that it was under new ownership so they were not able To have the bar or dinner, and that they were getting a new pool maintenance crew. The glasses in our room were dirty, and literally stuck to the shelf, only had 1 towel in the room, which makes you wonder how well the room was actually cleaned before us. The pull-out sofa sleeper had what appeared to be electrical tape holding the cushions together. We travel often for youth sports. This hotel was a big disappointment!"

"The hotel location was in a great location, with plenty of restaurants & stores nearby. The hotel was clean & comfortable. The staff was topnotch! There was an issue with the area unit in my room, that happened at 4a! The front desk clerk immediately put me into another room when I informed her the next morning. Unfortunately, the blower in the new room blew air out, without stopping, during the night. I had to turn it off. It was a little chilly, but not too bad. "
