"I came in late night, there was no front desk service but I was accommodated. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The sheets were used and had not been changed, but no one was available at that time to change them. We covered the bed with a comforter that was in the closet, hoping that it was clean. We wanted to switch from the residence to the actual hotel but already paid and would have wasted our money. But Omar was great, he was very helpful when he was working his shift."

The location was great and made getting around very convenient. Room service food was also really good. "Had a great stay at this hotel. The only issue I had was with the payment. I secured and confirmed a rate via hotels.com, when I checked in the hotel wanted to charge me a higher rate saying the confirmed rate didn’t include taxes. When I showed them the email confirmation that clearly shows that taxes were included they still wanted to overcharge me. The staff member who attended me (whose name I’ll keep anonymous to protect them) didn’t bother to even call a manager in to get the situation settled, he told me to call hotels.com which I did and thankfully hotels.com was able to get the situation clarified. When I went the next morning to pay my correct balance I spoke to two other employees who called in a manager who seemed irritated as I’m sure this case was brought to their attention by hotels.com. The manager then proceeds to tell me to come back in 2-3 hours for the system to update. I come back later in the evening and the original employee who attended me the first day apologized for the confusion and I settled my bill for the correct amount. While I’m grateful my case went well I’m sure there are countless others they tried to pull this trick on. Be careful and don’t take their word. Always save your confirmation emails and post comments so others are aware of their antics. Holiday Inn Global should read these comments for training and performance evaluation purposes as well."
