"Very close to the airport with a free airport shuttle service, which is a big plus. However, the evening reception staff seemed overwhelmed during my stay, and I often had to wait a while before my concerns were addressed. Unfortunately, my room had several issues. It was quite cold as the heater wasn’t working, the UK power outlet didn’t function, and when I reported it, I was advised to charge my devices in the dining area instead. The kettle in the room was also not working. A light English breakfast is provided, along with free tea and coffee in the dining area. I did feel safe throughout my stay, which was reassuring. As expected from a hotel close to the airport, there is noticeable airplane noise. The property itself is quite dated and could benefit from some upgrades."

"the power went out around 20:00,generator was only start about 40 min later,only giving power to the lights in the room,no power to the plug or or the fridge,we could not charge our phones or laptops,then generator was shut down,and only started up again At 06:00...all our cool drinks was hot..no this is terible"

"The on-duty caretaker at the guest house during my stay, Mr. Bheki, was very friendly and was always willing to help out with information that will enhance my comfort and safety during my stay. The room was clean and well arranged, the environment was clean and quiet, the Wifi was very active, and taxi (Bolt) was readily available for one go to town to get whatever one wants. The proximity to the O.R Tambo International Airport, the Kempton Park and the Central Business District (CBD), was of great advantage to me during my stay."

"DON’T STAY HERE!!! Very unsafe neighbourhood. No complimentary transfers available as car was broken. Front security gate was broken. Location is not three minutes from the airport as it claims to be. No way this is a four star place. Room door only has a glass door with a flimsy internal door lock. Man tried to enter our room. We arrived, had a look and left after 5 minutes to a safer environment. Please don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures and convenient options on the Expedia listing. I strongly advise you not to stay here. I was shocked and quite afraid. "
