"The Schloss-Hotel is located in a small, beautiful and quiet town 10 minutes by car from Lucerne. The hotel is on the lake shore and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel has a large private parking lot. The hotel is designed and built in a medieval style and we felt like we were in a 15th century manor. There are medieval weapons mounted on the walls of the corridors, which is a wonderful decoration - as if we were in an armory. The hotel is very nice. The room was clean, spacious and had medieval furniture. The bathroom was clean and had a sufficient number of towels. The hotel has a space (on the floor above the reception) where we could make coffee, tea, sit and even borrow a book. Breakfast is served in a restaurant located across the street. The breakfast is buffet style, but the selection was smaller than I expected. The breakfast was tasty and the cappuccino was great. The staff is nice, pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. If we need accommodation in the area again in the future, this hotel will be our first choice."
