Good location for Ski valley and Taos

Booked for a ski trip to Taos Ski Valley. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the mountain and town. There are other great restaurants even closer. Property covers the basics and was nice to stay in.

Nice rooftop deck; quiet neighborhood; close to town, ski area, and hiking trails; beautiful sunsets from porch or rooftop deck King bed and sofa sleeper aren't comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.

Peaceful!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The casita was perfect! It was extremely clean, everything worked and the 2 caretakers, Terra and Danial were beyond great! Their response was instant and the problem(mostly ?'s) were replied to instantly. I so appreciated their kindness on Thanksgiving when they brought over a full meal even dessert! It was so thoughtful and unexpected! If Terra and Danial are watching over you, believe me you have no problems.

Great location between Taos Ski Valley and Plaza, Arroyo Seco, or head to Gorge or Ojo! The place was spotless and stocked with all the necessities. We will definitely stay here again. Our caretaker was available for questions concerning WiFi and we felt very safe here. You’ll love the 360 views of mountains!

It was suppose to be a king sized bed but they put two twin beds together. When I would roll over to hug my husband or vice versa u had a board in the middle of ur back. Very very uncomfortable! I think the owner should invest in a normal King sized bed. Other then that the house was perfect! We def will use your company again for our next visit to Taos!! Thank u!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place to stay for our little family of 4. My husband, 2 kids (ages 5 & 7), and I stayed four nights here in June and absolutely loved it. It was very clean and roomy. There is no air conditioning(which seemed common for the area) but there was no need for one even in June! I priced local hotels and this was actually more affordable and much nicer. The balcony on the roof gave a great view to the mountains and all of the little prairie dogs running around. It also has a full size refrigerator, stove, table with four chairs, and satellite tv. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the casita for four nights in May. The location, so close to the mountains, away from the traffic of Taos was perfect. Loved being able to go into Seco every morning for coffee at the Taos Cow. Neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. Casita was very comfortable, nicely furnished & appointed. Rooftop deck was too fantastic, the views from there were beautiful. Absolutely worth the money, MUCH better than a Taos hotel. Property management was very helpful, responded quickly to requests. The rental info mentioned that wifi was available, however we couldn't get it inside the casita. I needed to walk up to outside the main house for a connection. However, that was a blessing in disguise - I put away my phone and computer and just enjoyed the time there. The bed is two twin beds together, so we had to sleep apart at night. Not a big deal considering how perfect everything else was. I will definitely check the availability of this casita before booking anything else in the area.

The rooftop balcony gives you a view that is priceless (stand in the center and turn 360 degrees to fully appreciate it). The quiet and secluded neighborhood, off the beaten path, was an unexpected delight. It was clean and well-maintained. Perfect for a couple or one person. We stayed during the last four days of May. We received exceptionally good service from the person helping me on the phone and from the caretaker. We can't wait to rent it again as our home-base while we explore more of New Mexico.

Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely first visit to the Taos area - after 3 days in Santa Fe, our stay here was a perfect balance of quiet, sunsets and mountain views. We happened upon the DH Lawrence ranch which just happened to be open the day we did the Enchanted Circle drive. The casita was just perfect for our desire to be out of town yet close to Taos and Arroyo Seco was a very pleasant surprise. We loved our prairie dog neighbors!
