The room was tired. Holes in the carpet. Blinds broken, not functional.
Most staff were courteous. One middle aged gentleman at the front desk was rude, impatient. Acted as if a question for breakfast recommendation was annoying him. Doormen were helpful. I will not stay there again

Everything was great. Great choice for families with lots of space for New York compared to other hotels we have visited. Massive amount of storage for clothes and luggage. Two bathrooms, great facilities for laundry and the kids could play pool or ping pong whilst they were waiting. Would highly recommend. Easy location close to subway and ferries to get about.

I can't recommend Terau Beach Bungalows highly enough. Kaboua and Tinnai (pronounced "Sin-ai"), who run the place, couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. The accommodation is thatched huts - so don't expect 5 star - but there can't be many 5 star places where you're lulled to sleep by the ...
