"We really loved the location and staff at this hotel - the view is BEAUTIFUL over-looking the lake and was the highlight of the hotel and they've created cute decks in front of each room which are nice to relax on. The rooms and beds are fine but we did have bugs (including a cockroach) in the room. I understand this is sometimes common in Costa Rica so we try to be understanding about that, but it did poorly impact our night's sleep. Ultimately, we were happy we chose to stay at the lake...

"I am so glad we decided on staying here. It was a culmination of things that made our stay perfect! 1st was Patrick and his wife Alisa were perfect hosts. The meals they prepared were tasty and filling, we didn't have to plan anything(Patrick did it all for us), the house was soooo comfortable. It felt like home and the views!!!! Oh my goodness, the veiws were amazing. I would sit out on the balcony and have my coffee with their friendly

"We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin from July 14th through the 17th. In my opinion it’s small to be a resort but the place is beautiful. The staff was very attentive to our every need. I love the fact that it was not crowded. July is considered the rainy season and the off season. That’s probably why it wasn’t crowded. If you don’t like crowds consider going during the month of July. The weather was perfect, maybe in the low 80s during the day. We experience a shower or 2 but it didn’t last long. I would definitely recommend this place. "
