Un pedacito de Suiza en Costa Rica, el paisaje es precioso, combinación de montaña y lago. La fachada del hotel y el restaurante del edificio principal están decorados con encanto. Personal súper amable, servicio muy personalizado, siempre con una sonrisa y pendientes de que estés bien atendido. Estábamos de aniversario y tuvieron un muy lindo detalle, nos dejaron una botella de un espumante delicioso en la habitación. Nos sorprendió gratamente. Detalles a mejorar: el mantenimiento general. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y requieren ser renovadas, que se vean más cuidadas. Los horarios del recorrido en tren muy limitados, área de los puentes en arco con zacate muy alto (lo que le resta encanto). Restaurante Rondorama parece abandonado, sin decoración, se ve hasta sucio. Mil veces más bonito el restaurante del edificio principal. Menú muy limitado, pocas opciones.

Es un concepto muy diferente, un lugar ideal para el descanso y para disfrutar de la maravillosa vista al lago Arenal. El diseño del hotel es encantador, la iglesia, lechería, el viaje en trencito, el restaurante giratorio, etc. La alimentación está buena pero incluiría un poco más de opciones en el menú, aunque no está mal. Considero que le falta un poco de "cariño" al recorte de las zonas verdes, ví el monte muy alto en especial hacia el rest. giratorio. El rest. giratorio lo ví un poco descuidado y es un lugar espectacular, con una vista preciosa y podrían sacarle más provecho. Son detalles pero el lugar me pareció divino y deseo volver.

I recommend Hotel Los Heroes

The hotel has a very good service, good food, and the most amazing view of the lake. My only recommendation is to update the infrastructure a little bit. Some door handles not in good shape.
