"Loved the ample living room areas, we were all spread out, very private on first floor. Comfortable bed and clean room and bathroom. Quiet upstairs bedrooms, but our toilet was running constantly and we needed to close the valve behind the toilet after each flush. Excellent breakfast and service."

"Jan and Darren were excellent hosts - they were very welcoming and took time to talk to their guests; they were interested and interesting. This helped to create a relaxed atmosphere between the guests as well. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable and everything we needed was on hand. Breakfasts were really lovely and a real departure from the normal fare offered. All in all a really lovely stay - many thanks."

"The property is beautifully decorated and there are many thoughtful touches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hearty and made to order (although ours was a bit cold), overall I would strongly recommend a stay here. We only booked one night and regretted it."

"Had a lovely couple of days at Park Lodge. Great sleep. Lovely room. Wife appreciated the set up for hair drying and mirror in the bedroom. Only minor thing is that towels could be a bit larger. Evening meals were lovely. If having the September Chinese Trio special watch out for chillies! Breakfast was fine although full Scottish was a smaller portion than expected. Poached eggs had a different look but were tasty."
