"Good location, clean, staff ok. I say ok as one male behind the desk ignored me while taking a call. Stood there so long had to go sit down. Less than cordial. I had already paid for room, dropped my bags, then went out as room was not ready which was fine. They put my bags in the room but never gave me a key, stood there waiting like a fool at the desk for way too long, then no apology. Oh well, not sure I’d stay there again. "

"What a fabulous find this hotel is! I’ve stayed in lots of places in Rome over the past 20 years and I decided on Trastevere this time around as I wanted a calm vibe as my mum was with me. The Una Esperienze was just…perfect! From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the friendliness of the reception team (big up Sofia and Manuela) and how beautifully clean and maintained the hotel and our room was. I would recommend to all and hope I can return at some time. Towels changed every day! Only one small bit of feedback, the roof terrace was disappointing. We arrived, dropped bags and headed up with our books - excited for a few aperols and a sunset! Sadly, we were left standing awkwardly (just 2 tables in the roof terrace bar at the time) and were ignored for about 5 minutes with no welcome. We eventually sat ourselves at a table and the drinks menu arrived (a little begrudgingly, I felt) about 3 minutes after. We ordered and drinks turned up fast enough and we enjoyed these for a few minutes but sadly it began to rain. We moved inside. I asked the waitress whether we could sit in the lighter side of the roof terrace which was to the right…the bar to the left felt very dark with lots of lights not on/ working? She replied sharply that this side was for restaurant guests only and walked off. We were not offered food menus and it put me off having food or drinks up there again. If the service in the roof terrace can be improved, this is the perfect hotel. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Boutique Hotel Campo de' Fiori and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. Our group booked two apartments — one for me, my husband, and our daughter, and another for my parents, uncle, and cousin — and both were fantastic. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The master bedroom had what felt like a California king-size bed, and we slept incredibly well every night. The shutters were a great feature, completely blocking out light and noise for a peaceful sleep. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. The location could not have been better — just a short walk to Piazza Navona, along with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. A special thank you to Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly responsive, helped us book transfers and taxis, guided us around the city, and even notified us right away when an Amazon package arrived. He consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely stay here again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Smeraldo. We arrived before noon. The hotel offered to hold our luggage until the room was ready. Staff offered us coffee during the check in process. They gave us a map and circled the areas we were interested in. The hotel is centrally located in the historical center. Everything is in walking distance. We booked a small room and it was small. The room was clean and looked newly renovated. The bathroom was modern and luxurious. Everything about this hotel was elevated. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Hot and cold foods, fresh fruit, eggs, meats, fresh bakery, etc. They had breakfast staff that took our coffee orders. The front lobby was always manned by several friendly helpful staff. We stayed 4 nights and would not hesitate to return. "
