"This beautiful Villa from the 1600’s was everything and more than anticipated. Situated right outside of Sarteano, a town we fell in love with. The view from the Villa was spectacular. The grounds were loaded with herbs, fruit trees and lavender. We stayed 6 weeks and it was a great base to visit all of the areas of Tuscany. Great restaurants, bars, and shops with a market on Friday mornings. Fabiola and Raffael became friends that we were very sad to leave. A car is definitely needed as it is down a 1.7 km lane to the villa. Fabiola was a great wealth of information for us to visit the wonderful towns of the region. We never saw a prettier area in Italy and so easy for our guests to get there from Rome to Chiusi where the train station was. Everyone in Sarteano took great effort to handle our requests even though our Italian was very limited. Wineries and olive oil mills there also. It was an adventure that I hope to relive again within the next 12 months. "
