"Southern Charm deserves five star ratings. Everything as pictured and described. Exceptionally clean. Very convenient for U of Ky and the medical centers. Parking was great for us in our marked spot and easy for family who joined us. Outstanding communication. Quiet condo area. Highly recommend. Supplies such as detergent, etc. "

"I just love staying at this hotel. It’s so unique in its style and overall atmosphere. I finally enjoyed the bar and restaurant this trip. The bartender was so nice and made a great cocktail! I tried the fried green tomato sliders… OMG! Outstanding. Also, it’s nice it’s so close to University of Kentucky where my kiddo goes to school now."

"The front desk staff and valets were top notch, professional and friendly. Rooms were somewhat dated, but clean overall, except for the lower shelves of the bathroom vanity which was dirty and dusty, including the hairdryer. The pool area was very nice and clean, and our little ones had a good time there. The huge seling point for this hotel is it's being connected to the Rupp Center. I would definitely stay here for any event I was attending at the Rupp Center. The breakfast bar had a good selection, but ridiculous price. We have received breakfast bars that were just as good and with just as much variety for free at cheaper hotels in large cities. $26.00 per person is way too much. As well, when I tipped my waitress, she did not bring my change back and I had given a 20% tip."
