"The best thing about this stay was Pilar's (the host) hospitality! "This cosy, beautifully converted building was a joy to stay in. I woke up on the first morning to see the sun had painted the mountains red, visible from the bedroom window. "We spent a weekend as we had the Quebrantahuesos cycling race. The house is great, extremely clean and with all the commodities you might need. She showed us everything around the property and was so helpful with letting us know places we could visit for sightseeing. "The room was modern—with glass walls separating the shower, sink, and toilet area from the rest of the room—yet comfortable. The bedding and linens were very clean and crisp. The staff was very friendly the evening we checked in and the morning we checked out. The highlight was the astounding breakfast. It had come highly recommended by the staff when we checked in the night before. We hadn’t planned to participate, but because of the recommendation, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Natalie, the hostess for breakfast, kept everything clean and well stocked. Placards are available in Spanish and English telling of the various food options. The quality was impeccable. I think the breakfast buffet should be a Michelin-acclaimed establishment. All of this and it was very affordable priced. For whatever reason, parking was difficult to locate. We found a space—after driving around for 30 minutes—that was a 10-15-minute walk from the hotel. "
