"A beautiful resort situated on lake Dumbulla. Very peaceful and quiet with wildlife all around. The swimming pools were exceptional, clean and perfect temperature for the heat and humidity - we could stay in there all day! All the staff are super helpful, friendly and go above and beyond in anything that was asked. Being close to the Rock Fortress was great to be able to get there early before sunrise. Highly recommend staying here."

"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

"The panamamic views surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I have stayed at places all over the world (36 countries and counting) and this house ranks in our top 5. The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside. "The Hotel Supreme in Dambulla is definitely recommended. We stayed 4 nights in the superior room and had no problem at all. The hosts and the staff are courteous and very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing and after a long trip you can easily enjoy your beer at the fika bar."
