"From checki in to check out and in between was wonderful. The lovely woman at check in upgraded us to a larger room. (Silly Americans with large luggage) staff even helped tote our luggage’up and down the three flights of stairs. Hot delicious breakfast cooked to order each morning. Ashley and all of the staff were lovely and hospitable. Room was clean, bed comfortable, heater worked well. Room cleaning offered each day. Dinner was lovely and the Guiness and our first baby Guiness memorable. Next door too many shops, pubs, and beautiful coast. Lahinch and their people are a gem! Cannot wait to return! Thank you for allowing us to experience your lovely town. "
"We had a fantastic stay over New Year with extended family. The house truly felt like a home from home. After a long drive, we were given a very warm welcome by Mairead, which immediately set the tone for the week. The house is extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean, and boasts the most spectacular views. We managed to fit in several outings, including a number of beautiful beaches, Dogs Bay and Gurteen in Roundstone, and Moyrus Beach, which is just a short drive from the house. Great wee coffee shop in Roundstone too. We also visited Clifden Castle, and the kids loved spending their Christmas money in Clifden town. A walk around Ballynahinch Castle was another highlight, followed by a lovely dinner in Glynsk House, only a few minutes away from the house.John and Mairead are wonderful hosts — thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. They checked in on us during our stay and even left a crate of turf for the log burners, which was a much-appreciated touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this house for a relaxing and memorable stay."
"Fabulous! We took the family for a 1 night break before the Christmas madness and it was just the tonic we needed. Spacious rooms with comfy beds and a breakfast to please everybody. We made 2 visits the pool which was the highlight for our kids aged 4,6 & 8:) "
"The staff was super helpful ordering taxis for us promptly. Breakfast was efficient and tasty. Check in and check out was easy and we were never left waiting"
"This is a nice hotel located a couple of blocks from the beach. The room was large, spotless and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The Aberdeen Bar & Restaurant is warm and welcoming and offers an excellent menu. The breakfast buffet was expansive and well maintained. The hotel is a block away from the main street in town where one can find other restaurants as well as pubs with traditional music. On site parking is free. The location is also close to the Cliffs of Moher and the town of Doolin. I recommend the hotel and would book it again when in the area."
