"We arrived in heavy rain, and the owner, brought out broken umbrellas. He initially said we couldn’t drive up to drop off bags but allowed it in the end because of the weather. The property looked decent at first, but once inside our “best room,” the reality hit hard. The room stank of stale, dirty odours. The bathroom smelled like awful, persistent drain fumes—not just a normal toilet smell. The kettle was filthy, and the water came out cloudy—luckily, I noticed before drinking it....

"It's a clean hotel, with super friendly staff. The rooms are clean, but old. No bed bugs, no dirt, no hairs left or anything. The beds are a bit hard, but it's okay.     "The rooms were so well equipped, they have thought of everything. The sofa bed in the living room has a proper mattress and is very comfortable. Staff and amenities great! Free tea/coffee from the breakfast room each morning even if you aren't paying for breakfast which is a lovely touch. Location perfect, metro close, some beautiful places to eat and the famous moulin rouge just around the corner. Travelled with my mum and my two daughters ages 18 and 21. Best city break! Thank you "
