"ALL THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. HAD ABOUT 4 MEALS AT THE LODGE. ROOM WAS OK CLEAN, BUT THE CARPET SEEMED TO NEED A CLEANING. RESTAURANT STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT. I DIAGREE WITH THE LODGE POLICY OF CHARGING A $20 FEE FOR A LATE CHECK OUT OF 1 HOUR. MOST PLACES WILL ALLOW AN HOUR OR TWO GRACE PERIOD WITHOUT CHARGING EXTRA. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR POLICY."

"The room was awful. Dead flies all over the window sill. Window frame rotted. Wine or some red stain on carpet. Wires hanging out in bathroom. Chair was dirty and worn. The whole floor smelled of curry. Didn’t even ask for identification when we checked in. Room 516 desk clerk didn’t even seemed surprised when we left. "

"The owner cancelled my reservation the day before I was to arrive. My friends and I were left scrambling to find a new place to stay less than 24 hours before leaving home. I am now in a fight with VRBO to refund my money. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I do not recommend staying in Tom Brown's rentals."
