Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Communication initially on how to get there was lacking, but fortunately they were early in their street and easy to find. We were actually swapped to Chalet #2, so comments reflect that unit. The unit is dated and tired. It is clean, and provides good kitchen resources (except the fridge has no shelves). The bathroom is old and dark, and while towels and a bar of soap are provided, there was no face towel, no hand towel, no light in the shower. The shower head fell off, and after re-attaching leaked. Don't use the green couch, it's broken. The bed is very large, but no bedside cabinets at all, and a fuzzy blanket with no top sheet (in a hot environment!). The ceiling fan does its best, but with no heat pump, struggles to keep you cool. We found that towels left inside the unit would not dry in 24 hours. We were surprised to see a note in the info book that we are provided $20 power and it's our responsibility to provide more if we run out. We found no power meter on site to know if we were running out, no info was provided on determining this. In 3 days we did not run out. Owner has dogs on the property for security. Bring ear plugs for sleeping. They bark and fight all night long. There are also loud heavy traffic near the unit, so they'll help with that, too. We appreciated having an entire unit with kitchen, at short notice. However, this property needs some fundamental updating to attract holidayers.
