I booked 2 - bedroom for my family of 9 adults & 3 children. When checking in I was charged an additional fee because one of the child 13, which is considered as an adult. The Villa was relatively clean, until i found a cockroach in my master bedroom. It was alive and well, we managed to get it out of the room. Much to my dismay, when i woke up the next morning there was another dead cockroach on the floor, just a few feet away from my luggage. We also saw a dead cockroach floating in the pool! I now need to get my clothes properly cleansed / dry clean when I get home. Also get my luggage’s properly sterilize to make sure it’s not carrying any cockroach eggs! It took 2 hours for someone to come, their solution was to remove the cockroach. No other alternatives were provided. Besides the cockroach, when we were relaxing in our Villa private pool, stray cats would enter our house or sit on the outdoor furniture! They were skinny, and starving! Of course my kids wants to feed them, and try to pet them! Doing what kids will do! Luckily the cats were relatively nice, but if they were feral or disease ridden and had scratched / bitten the children then who would be responsible? We also experienced periodical power outages during our stay! The water toys which were readily available for rent were scarce, the staff were generally helpful, but they all appears to be not properly trained for their duties. Helpful but not knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. The resort offers great amenities, and we especially enjoyed the pool and the scenic views. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

Ka Ge Bay is a wonderful getaway from HCM, about 2.5 hrs away by car. The ocean is lovely (although I never swam in the ocean) to watch from the hotel. The staff were warm and friendly, although some were very inexperienced. Some went out of their way to make us feel comfortable (my wife loved the cassava cake and one member made sure she got a piece). We especially enjoyed Nhu in the restaurant. The Vietnamese food was quite good, but the chef was clearly not as comfortable with Western dishes and could use some additional coaching on them. The rooms were well kept and clean; in fact, I was impressed that the entire property looked almost new (this is an almost impossible task so close to the ocean). They served the same afternoon tea each day; I thought changing it wouldn't be that much more expensive, but it would add a lot. They should also consider offering more activities within the hotel, since there is very little to do in the immediate area. Overall, we were quite happy and would enjoy returning someday.
