I had a fantastic weekend at SpringHill Suites by Marriott McAllen this past weekend. From check-in to check-out, the staff was incredibly professional and welcoming – they truly made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, with all the amenities you’d expect from Marriott.
The complimentary breakfast was a standout: fresh, varied, and delicious. The cut of narrow selection? Wait, I think you mean the curated, not-too-overwhelming options – it was perfect for a quick, satisfying start to the day. Highlights included fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, fresh fruit, and strong coffee.
The only minor drawback was the hot tub in the pool area, which was more lukewarm than steamy. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for our stay, but it did leave us hoping for a quick maintenance fix. Overall, this is a solid choice for a comfortable, hassle-free trip to McAllen – I’d return and recommend it to friends!

"Such a beautiful property and most of the staff was so welcoming and friendly. There was one girl with short red hair who was very standoffish. However, our server for the breakfast buffet more than made up for that experience; he was excellent and made the visit that much better! The room was spacious and comfortable even though there was no central light. The parking garage felt safe enough, I had no issues getting in or out."
