Modern hotel, very clean, welcoming at reception. Single beds a little shaky, but all OK, powerful shower. I ate in the restaurant, which was good quality, wholesome hotel food. The only downside was that it took over 10 minutes to get someone to take payment. I sat there with the credit card out, then tapping it loudly on the table, then started whistling to get someone's attention, and not for a lack of servers scurrying around. When somone finally did notice, and I complained to them, I was told "for future reference" that I could always pay at reception. Kicking myself for still giving a £7 tip. Rude.
