The house has everything you need! It is simply precious and huge; it was nice to be with your family but not be on top of each other. Every room was fabulous and the beds were super comfortable. The hot tub is a huge bonus and we will definitely be coming back

It was very comfortable and well-furnished. The off-street parking was super helpful, and having 2 additional spaces in the garage was convenient. The kids loved the hot tub and both kids and adults loved the game room. Perfect location--we mostly ate at the house--but there are plenty of nearby restaurants. And the kitchen had everything we needed. I was pleased to hear a family member compliment me on "Picking a winner." We'll be back!

Awesome place!

The Funky Dutchman was an amazing place! The owners really stocked this place with everything you could possibly think of and were very responsive! The game room was a huge hit, as well as all of the character that the house had. We loved how close we were to the Rotunda Brew Pub, and just a short drive to all of the Hershey attractions. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to all of our friends and family!

Very thoughtful, wish we had spent more time here!

We had such an amazing stay with 2 families with young children and dog. Our kids didn't want to leave the game room area and movie theater. The location is wonderful and super convenient to have garage parking. There were so many thoughtful touches such as the popcorn for the movie theater, extra blankets coffee and tea station. It was very clean and one of the best stays we have had!

Great spot!

The Funky Dutchman was the best kind of funky! Everything was very clean, well stocked, so nice they provide sheets and towels and so much more! The kids (ranging from ages 4 to 9) had a BLAST - so much to do between the game room, movie room, pool, hot tub, smores by the fire and more. Easy drive to Hershey each day. The hosts communication was great. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Experience!

Wow! This was, by far, the best VRBO we have ever stayed at while on vacation! The owners thought of every single thing we could possibly need which made everyone happy. I can't say enough great things about the communication, options at the house, location of the house, and the tiny little details the homeowners took care of. Honestly our vacation was made even more spectacular because of this house!

Fantastic Stay at The Funky Dutchman!

Our stay at The Funky Dutchman was absolutely perfect! The property had so much character—quirky, fun, and comfortable, making it the ideal home base for our Northeast adventure. We traveled to explore New York, D.C., and other nearby destinations, and the location made it easy to get around while still providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.The home was spotless, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The hosts were communicative and accommodating, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. If you’re looking for a unique and cozy place to stay, The Funky Dutchman is a fantastic choice. We enjoyed an extended weekend with our adult children and young grandchildren. The house was as described. It was very clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the game room. Unfortunately we ran out of time to use the fire pit and outdoor games. Communication was great with Kyle.

Perfect Hershey area house for all ages!

We just wrapped a great stay! Can’t recommend this house enough. We had 2 families with kids aged 7-1 and there was plenty for everyone. There was actually so much provided with the house we didn’t get a chance to do it all- s’mores, popcorn maker, pool, yard games, arcade, all the TV streaming services. Great location to get to Hershey, farm tours, restaurants, grocery stories. The house was so clean. Everyone slept great since the beds were very comfortable. For the littlest kids it was great to have everything needed already at the house.

Great winter break

We were hoping for a great escape for us and our granddaughters during their winter break and the Funky Dutchman did not disappoint! The gardens and zoo are surprisingly fun in the winter and Chocolate World can easily fill a day. Best of all, though, was hanging out at the house. We all loved the hot tub even in 20 degree weather! The game room was a big hit too, especially foosball. We watched movies in the theater room every night. With popcorn. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family dinner, but we also had a great meal at a fun restaurant right across the street. Highly recommend this place.

Best Rental Ever!

We booked the Funky Dutchman for our daughter’s birthday trip to Hershey Park. The home was beautifully decorated and had fall decor throughout. We couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved the home. The owners have thought about every detail and supplied everything you would need during your stay. The girls had so much fun with all the games, movie room and hot tub. We couldn’t have booked a better place to stay! We have already discussed coming back for future trips to Hershey. The town of Annville is also a gem with restaurants and coffee shops walking distance away. The owners had great communication about checking in and out but we really didn’t need to contact them at all as everything was clearly written down throughout the home. Thank you so much for a great place to stay!! It was a trip we will remember forever!
