"This hotel was very convenient as I needed to stay the night in Mettupalaiyam after arriving by the toy train that early evening. It's a walkable 5-10 minute distance from the train station, with eat-in or take-out restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the street. I would only recommend maybe requesting for an extra blanket (which may be at a cost), or bringing your own, as they only provided two flat sheets. "Rooms are absolutely clean; nice friendly staff. Easy check in. Quiet location, so one gets a good sleep. Location is good too, in a residential type area. Highly recommended. HOWEVER, the owners have spent a lot of money in good quality bathroom fittings, but the installation is very poorly. Water heater fitted just over the towel rail!!
