Turned out not to be the case as our room had a double and a single bed and it was not possible to get 3 single beds. We survived that for one night - but cannot accept to share a bed with a double duvet - so asked reception for an extra duvet. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available. "
