About this property
Sophisticated Charmer with Parking & Views of the USNA Chapel Dome
Hello and Welcome to Annapolis! You are going to love this home.
IMPORTANT: if you are inquiring about USNA Commissioning week please send us a message request. USNA Commissioning current base rates are $12,000 for a 7-night minimum stay.
We purchased this home January 2010 and lived here for 6 happy years with our 3 boys. We are fully licensed as a short term rental home by the City of Annapolis. Located in the heart of the Historic District, and steps away from the US Naval Academy and the Maryland State Capital, our home was built in 1890, and renovated in the 1920s, 1990s, and again in 2010!
The Navy Marine Corps football stadium is 1 mile away, and a pleasant walk on a nice day (and much faster than driving through the game day traffic!). Popular wedding destinations (William Paca House, Annapolis Yacht Club) are a short stroll from the front door, and an easy walk to Main Street and the City Dock with all its restaurants, shops, and tour boats make this the perfect in-town location.
We've decorated and furnished the home with a nod to the historic character of the architecture. There are built-ins, hidden compartments, detailed moldings, a double staircase, a sun porch looking onto King George Street and a fully stocked "Cook's kitchen." The formal dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features an antique dining table from the 1920's. Though not entirely "historic" the house does also include wireless internet, basic cable, a DVD player, and a large flat screen TV.
Upstairs, the Master suite was designed with a more modern feel and features a large bathroom (which was featured in Annapolis Home Magazine) and second floor sun porch overlooking the back yard with views towards State Circle. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds with a view of the Navy Chapel dome! There is also another another recently renovated full bathroom on the 2nd floor.
We have 2 off-street parking spots and a beautifully landscaped backyard with a patio and grill, shady trees and plenty of room for a backyard get together. An additional 2 parking spaces may be reserved by request (seasonal fees may apply).
Mature groups only. This is not a party house. Ideal for families, Navy parents, history buffs, and parents of the bride or groom. We look forward to speaking with you!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well maintained, easy to get to, and a terrific location with easy walking distance to a ton of shops. Host was great. We'd definitely stay here again.
Fantastic family stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Charm and location of this property hard to beat. Special treat sitting in the sun room and listening to the bells of the naval chapel just yards away!
Less than 5-minute walk to Town or the US Naval Academy. The home was perfect for our stay! We had friends in the area who drove and had a place to park. The home had plenty of space to relax! Great stay!
We love this house! This is the third time we stayed here during a sailing regatta in Annapolis! Easy parking for our truck. Short walk to the downtown restaurants and yacht club. Absolutely no issues at all. Easy and perfect. Just fantastic and exactly what we expect each year! Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!
Two adult couples stayed for a local wedding at the Paca House. So easy to get to from this amazing house. So welcoming and cozy. We felt comfortable immediately. The hosts were great to work with. Truly an exceptional weekend with the house being a big part of it. Thanks very much!!
We had a wonderful stay during commissioning. The house is charming, warm and cozy yet spacious. Plenty of room in the formal dining area and backyard to host a gathering of 20 family members. The location can’t be beat! Very short distance to the Yard and downtown. Kristjiana was a lovely and accessible host.
Spent a beautiful week at this lovely home for my daughter’s wedding at the William Paca House & Gardens. The owners are so generous and gracious. Everything you could need is provided - including crab mallets. You can’t ask for a more perfect location with easy walks to everything downtown. We loved it!
We came for my husbands 40th reunion. It was the perfect house. Close to everything and so comfy with wonderful bedrooms, kitchen, living quarters and backyard. The parking was also wonderful because there are not a lot of places to park.
We had excellent communication. Very quick to reply.
Thanks for a great place. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
Perfect location to walk all of Annapolis! Easy to find. Off street parking so you car is safe. Owners are super nice and accommodating. Master bath is terrific. Front closed on porch is the best for hanging out with the windows open. House is well appointed with everything you need to relax and have a great weekend in a great town. We have stayed in 3 VRBOs in Annapolis when we visit and this is the best by far!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful house. We found it to be a clean, cozy, relaxing and peaceful property. It was within great distance to the Naval Acdemy which was awesome for attending Navy’s soccer exhibition game and to downtown. It had a wonderful and peaceful backyard for relaxing. The only negative was the outdoor patio furniture. It had debris and cob webs on it which I feel should be cleaned as well before guests arrival. Other than that we loved our stay!! We would definitely stay here again! Oh, the big plus was the parking; its own driveway, which was awesome!!
Look no further for your home away from home in the best location possible. Our family decided to do a staycation to live the downtown life for a few days. Kristjana went above and beyond. She left scooters in the backyard for our children to play with and had the home stocked with toys. We spent our mornings walking to local coffee shops to get breakfast/coffee to go, eating it at the city dock, then walking over to the nearby playground for the boys to play. Then our evenings were spent enjoying the beautiful backyard. The location does not get any better. The home was decorated perfectly and made us all feel at home. I just can’t say enough good things about the home or host. If I could rate it a 10, I would. Thank you Kristjana for allowing your home to be a place that families and friends can create memories. We can’t wait for our next staycation!!
Having stayed in many VRBO homes throughout the years this is by far one of the most well appointed. This home is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The host thought of everything to make our experience enjoyable and complete. Fabulous location close to the Naval Academy and Main Street. The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!
Loved the location and parking. We were in town to work the sail show. It was very convenient to walk back and forth during the day. We loved having a place to stay. The beds were comfortable. Only gave four stars because the living furniture was not very comfortable to sit on and some of the kitchen equipment was very well used or missing. We plan on coming back again next year for the shows.
This house is incredibly well-situated for a stay in Annapolis. Five-minute walk to the Naval Academy and downtown. Beautiful interior and backyard. Kitchen is very well equipped. Ample parking on-site. Hosts were very accommodating with every request we made.
At a time when I need a quiet it was a wonderful place to retreat and have peace! Thank you so much for providing that for me with your beautiful property and still able to enjoy downtown!

Military Wedding Stay
Property well-maintained. Warm, cozy house ideally located. Easy walking to USNA Chapel (wedding party) and to Main St. restaurants and bars.
Close to everything, spacious and easily able to accommodate the bridal party. Parking in front and rear which is great for downtown Annapolis. Very responsive and accommodating host.
Great walking access to Naval Academy, downtown shops and restaurants. Great bedroom configuration, even provided a Pack-n-Play portable crib and high chair for our grandson. Well appointed kitchen if you want to cook. Very responsive owners.
This house was perfect for our 5 family members. Located very close to the Naval Academy, harbor restaurants and shops. The house was very clean and thoughtfully well-appointed with essentials. Beautiful backyard and comfortable beds. Driveway parking was essential, Communication with the owners was timely and friendly. Would absolutely stay at this lovely home again,
Our adult family of 4 came back to Annapolis after moving out of our 1920’s home in Eastport in 2022 for my mother’s funeral. The home was perfect for our somber stay and provided great flow for a small family and friend gathering to celebrate my mom. We felt like the sweet home gave us a big hug. Thank you for a special memory.
