"The property was dirty. Dog hairs on sofa dirty and sticky floors. Hob filty microwave plate grease air fryer rusty and dirty no stoppers for sinks. Bathroom sink outlet broken. When it was repaired it leaked. Reported it again got no reply. People entering the property without prior notice. Rooms very small. Also hidden cost hot tub. Over all property could do with a deep clean. "

"The Donard is an older property that is well positioned on the main road in Newcastle. Very friendly and nice staff makes up for the older rooms that are not air conditioned and a bit noisy due to the cars, trucks and motorcycles going by on the road. "

"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "
