KT2 Downtown Ann Arbor/Kerrytown Love Nest

Ann Arbor Guest House is located in the heart of Ann Arbor's Historic Kerrytown District. This exclusive and private residence is on the second floor of a approximately 170 year old home surrounded by antique perennials. We are across from Kerrytown Shops and Market and the famed Kerrytown Farmer's Market (open Wednesdays & Saturdays in season). The area is vibrant with life and activity. With the Kerrytown Concert House next door, classical and jazz music often escapes their confines and fills the Guest House! We renovated this Guesthouse in February 2018 after being open since 2003. At that time we upgraded new paint, new carpet, new bed, new draperies and window coverings, new kitchen appliances and more! The charm of this house keeps regulars, such as parents of kids at U of M or those coming for football weekends coming back. It becomes their home away from home. We have housed many professors for short and extended stays or couples come to escape their work-a-day world in search of a little peace and quiet from the kids and a night on the town. We lovingly call this our "Love Nest"!

This was a great place to stay! Fantastic location by a lot of shopping and really walking distance to other places on Main St too! We plan on going back in the summer and hope that we can stay here again!

Perfect stay in very central Ann arbor. We immediately felt right at home, the apartment is so clean and comfortable! One of us used the queen sofa bed and found it and the linens very comfortable. Location is amazing - We walked practically everywhere. If we return to Ann arbor we would love to stay again!

New Year in Ann Arbor

The accomadation was very clean and cozy. Very comvenient to Kerrytown and downtown Ann Arbor. Much quieter than anticipated being in city center. Plenty of room for the two of us. Great location for visiting family and friends over the holidays.

Perfect Little Getaway

Nina was extremely responsive and helpful when I was planning the NYE trip, which required me to bring my small dog. The place was quaint and in a great location downtown.

Convenient!

The location was great. An easy walk to most places and nice to have Kerrytown market next door. It's an older building so there a quirks, but it was a perfect place to relax on my business trip. Very clean and had everything I needed.

Great location!

Great location for anything downtown and in Kerrytown—with a parking spot! Overall, this charming spot worked nicely for my Ann Arbor-born and raised husband and I plus my mom to stay while we visited family for Thanksgiving. We wish the beds were a bit softer, especially the futon, but we managed just fine. When in Ann Arbor make sure to visit the Kerrytown Farmers Market, the Michigan Theater, and Knights for a meal and stiff drink.

Lovely!

The Love Nest was clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable! It was right across the street from Kerrytown shops. We walked everywhere. It was a great weekend!

Cozy!

We were in and out for Parent's Weekend and this spot was walkable to all the places we needed to be. Instructions were clear and responses from the host (check in and out) were responded to quickly. Bonus - the year-round farmer's market is located just across the street - it was wonderful to wander through Sat morning!

Perfect Location

Amazing, amazing location with parking!! Literally right across the street from farmers market and Kerrytown shopping and easy walk to downtown restaurants and campus. Apartment is very comfortable. House is nearly 200 years old, as owner acknowledges, so some quirks, but a lovely stay. We loved Ann Arbor!!

DXA2 Half Marathon

My wife and stayed here while in town for the Dexter-Ann Arbor Half Marathon. Excellent location, plenty to keep you busy within walking distance. Very close to bus pick up for the race. Space was clean and communication with Nina via the app was convenient with prompt replies. Definitely would stay again.

Great location

Pros: we loved the close location to downtown, especially the farmers market on Saturday. Comfortable master bed, cute kitchen with lots of extras like coffee and tea. The AC units in the bedroom and kitchen helped keep the apartment cool on hotter afternoons. Cons: the bathroom is quite small without counter space and the shower had low pressure each day (we figured because it was an old house) and finally the last day we had zero shower pressure. Hopefully it can be fixed for the next guests. Overall a cute place in a great location which helped moving our daughter into college easier because of its proximity to campus. Thank you!

Noisy but comfortable

Location was great for walking to places we wanted to visit and being right across from the market was great. There was noisy road work going on next to the property that started around 5am each day. Not the best for sleeping in. There was a jar of ear plugs, but we didn't want to use them. Not their fault that the road work was going on, but we wish we would have known. Probably would have stayed elsewhere. Still giving 5 stars since it wasn't their fault. Place was clean and comfortable. Would stay again if there wasn't going to be road work waking us up.

When we first arrived … was a bit worried seeing the jar of earplugs beside the bed but they were never needed. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would recommend this property for convenience, cleanliness, amenities, comfort and attention to detail. The only frustration was the inability to access the streaming services offered on the TV. Could be our age in not being able to figure it all out! Also need to update the directions to the parking spot - red building is white now - and the one way sign as something to look for would have helped … but overall a great place to call home for a few days. Thanks!
