"Lovely little cottage in a very nice small town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. "We had a couple of problems during our stay. Our hosts were on holiday in a rrmote part of the country so communication could be delayed because of poor mobile connection. However they curtailed their holiday and rectified matters as soon as they were able. I would certainly stay there again as The sawmill is very centraal, shops nearby and close to transport hubs. Highly recommmended despite the problems we had."

We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. "The room was basic and appeared to have been made up in a hurry - wastebin liner not fitted to allow waste to be deposited and no teaspoons. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There was evidence of repair work in the bathroom where different tiles had been poorly fitted - but it was clean and functional. The pizza served at dinner was as good as you would get anywhere in mainland Italy - obviously fresh and piping hot. Breakfast was excellent, a very good selection to serve all tastes, hot food hot and a good selection. Friendly and attentive staff, although a call to reception went unanswered for some while during a busy check-in period. The current drought conditions didn't show off the gardens to their full potential and paved walkways had quite a number of loose slabs."
