Everything was amazing! The staff were really kind and helpful. The location is excellent - within walking distance to many shops, bars, and restaurants, yet the hotel area was quiet. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. We loved our stay here. We would love to stay again!

Excellent location 2 minute walk to heart of Kavaklidere area of Ankara. Staff was exemplary. The breakfast and other meals were great. I had all my meals at the hotel, even though there are many rrstaurant choices in the area. My only complaint room was too warm, even for winter.

The hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. I liked the styling of the room and valet parking was included with our stay at no additional charge even though the booking mentioned self parking. The AC in the room was pretty terrible though. Even at the lowest temperature setting and highest fan speed, the room would not cool down. It also felt like the in-room fridge wasn't performing well either. There's no guest ice machine so every time I wanted ice, I had to go to the hotel bar/restaurant to ask for ice and water which wasn't a problem but I could only do it when it was staffed. We are breakfast, but we felt we were overcharged because Expedia states the breakfast only costs 200 Turkish Lira, but we were charged over 600 Turkish Lira per person. I likely won't be staying at this hotel again and probably opt for the Hilton in the area if I choose to return to Ankara.

Everything was good except smell in the room. People smoke in rooms and everything smells even my bed smelled like cigarettes. Spa was a disappointment too. Because all what we had was dry sauna and thats it.

Bad staff and not clean

The room is okay but staff is not that good. They didn’t change the towels of our room, even though we left them on the floor, the staff just put them as they are new towels. Such a shame, they tried to trick us, not what you would expect from a chain hotel that has four stars.

Elveda Occidental Hotel Ankara

Türklerin genetik olarak başarıya meyilli oldukları ata sporu olarak ifade edilen sporlar halter ve güreş olarak bilinir. Hayır millet olarak ata sporumuz iyi giden düzgün işletmeleri bozmaktır. Bir önceki gezide bunu fark etmiş ancak geçici bir durumdur herhalde demiştim; değilmiş. Girişte beni stajer resepsiyonistler karşıladı. Elbette eğitimleri açısından staj şart ama tek başlarına olmamalılar; başlarında kuruma ait biri olmalı idi. İki misafir ile birlikte üç kişilik superior oda istedim. Rezervasyona bu şekilde izin verildi. Bana executive suit kanepe yatak ile giriş verildi. Benim superior oda seçme sebebim banyo. Sadece superior odadaki banyo daha geniş ve oturma yeri var. Ben oturarak banyo yapmak istiyorum. Executive odanın banyosu en az normal oda kadar küçük. Daha pahalı üst model oda olması benim ihtiyacımı anlamına gelmez. Kanepe yatağı kaldırmalarını istedim beklememe rağmen kimse gelmedi. Yoğun oldukları söylendi. Zar zor kanepeyi tekrar kanepe haline getirdim. İkinci gün oda temizlenmiş olmasına rağmen bar yenilenmedi. Suyu istemek zorunda kaldım. Öğleden sonra saat 3 gibi lütfen çay, kahve ve şeker servisi yapıldı.İlk gün kalan misafilerim beni ziyaret ettiler ancak ikinci gün gelen misafirime giriş izni verilmedi. İki farklı gün kayıt olan misafirlerimin aynı kişi olmaları ile ilgili bir kural bilmiyorum. Ben gereken ücreti ödedim; bu beni ilgilendiren bir konudur. İkinci gün gelen resepsiyonist Arda Bey hariç benim gördüğüm personelin motivasyonu düşük
