Spacious Family Home, Sosoye

Located just outside the peaceful village of Sosoye (Anhée), this 7-bedroom holiday home is perfect for family gatherings or group getaways of up to 15 guests. Enjoy evenings on the terrace with a barbecue and wine, or relax in the furnished garden with a good book. A pet is welcome for an additional fee. Surrounded by the Molignée Valley, the home is close to a lake (1 km) and popular attractions like Les Jardins d’Annevoie, Maredsous Abbey, Castle Montaigne, and Les Draisines de la Molignée. Shops and restaurants are just 12 km away, and the town center is 15 km for a day of exploring. Inside, the home features central heating, a cozy sitting room with fireplace, a verandah for shared meals, and a well-equipped kitchen. Please note: groups of youngsters, student parties, and loud gatherings are not permitted. A tranquil and spacious retreat in the heart of the Ardennes.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Très bel endroit mais déçue par la propreté de la maison . En arrivant, nous avons nettoyé toute la maison . Il faisait très froid à l'intérieur, maison non chauffée et chauffage non entretenu, il n'y avait presque plus d'eau dans la chaudière . Nous avons donc coinsommé beaucoup de mazout en ayant froid . Le gîte nous a presque coûté le double avec les frais de mazout et de nettoyage qui n'avait pas été fait . Une autre petite surprise, 35€ pour les déchets (je paie environ 100€ par an)

Leuk huis met voldoende ruimte. De indeling is op de 2e verdieping wat vreemd je gaat door de badkamer naar de open slaapkamer, er zit geen slot op de deur. Er was sowieso maar 1 toilet met een slot, het overige sanitair dus ook niet. In de verder prima keuken misten we wel een aantal dingen zoals een dienblad, koffie/ theekannen en een broodmes. Het water uit de kraan is niet drinkbaar. Er stond 1 grote can met 15 liter voor op de watercooler, deze was echter binnen 24 uur leeg, we hebben zelf maar water gekocht bij de supermarkt. De bedden hebben over het algemeen plastic hoezen om de matrassen, hoewel hygienisch zijn ze wel erg zweterig. De kussens zijn erg dun. Het terras boven is een prima plek en de serre ook. Er staat een mooie bbq.

Het huisje had een hele mooie en praktische ligging en was zeker groot genoeg. E ...

Het huisje had een hele mooie en praktische ligging en was zeker groot genoeg. Er zijn mooie wandelingen in de buurt en erg veel andere activiteiten. Het terras op de eerste verdieping (met BBQ) was erg gezellig. Er was een handige parking aanwezig. Helaas was het er echt niet proper. Er zaten overal muizen en de douche stonk. Een persoon had een gat in haar rugzak nadat de muizen er 's nachts aan hadden zitten knabbelen. Er was ook geen drinkbaar water, wat erg onhandig was. De keuken is erg 'basic' uitgerust en de zetels vielen bijna uit elkaar. De bedden zijn erg oncomfortabel. Het huisje zelf was heel goedkoop, maar de rekening achteraf met water en elektriciteit bij was hoger dan we verwacht hadden. Voor onze groep van (deels) studenten, was het oké, maar volgende keer gaan we toch voor een iets duurder, maar properder en chiquer huisje gaan.
