"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful place to stay in September! We invited old friends to celebrate a 70th birthday and had a wonderful time. The house is well appointed and was very clean; the beds were very comfortable and there was no shortage of hot water. The gas grills made for wonderful cooking outdoors on the deck. Although it was cool and the maples had started to turn, we did swim (my wife and I are Mainers). The bird life was a treat: a pair of bald eagles fishing, several loons and many Canadian geese. Oh, and a flock of turkeys who held a dance party on the beach early every morning.The town of Bethel, perhaps ten minutes north, was a complete surprise. We particularly appreciated the Mineral and Gem Museum (a must see), Gemini Cafe and Bakery, and the sizable bank of charging stations for EV's next to Mainely Provisions Market. We even managed to find a place to view the LED lights on the top of Mount Washington to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers.Two hopes:1) Route 35 gets repaved soon; 2)you replace both indoor and outdoor light bulbs that are out."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet! The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the small details that make the home feel welcoming and make a stay that much more enjoyable.The kitchen had just the right amount of essentials, and everything provided was high quality. All of the beds were very comfortable, which was definitely appreciated after busy days exploring the area.The game room was a big hit with our family—we especially enjoyed the arcade and foosball games. We didn’t have a chance to use the sauna, but the hot tub was very large and was a fun way for the family to relax together one evening.The location was also ideal. The chalet is nicely tucked away, giving you a peaceful and secluded feeling, while still being close to the main roads and convenient for daily outings.Overall, this was a beautiful, well-maintained home with thoughtful amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend it!"

Sunday River`s Most Awesome House!

"This is a very nice property with an amazing outdoor space. The pool and patio area with a hot tub, covered seating and grill (plus a TV) were pretty much all we needed since it was a beautiful weather when we were there. It was also fun to have an huge yard to play various games and access to the river at the far end of the property. We didn’t even spend much time inside but there was some nice amenities there, as well including ping pong table, sauna, plenty of TVs, etc. David was very responsive when we had one fluke issue with the microwave but it was fixed within the hour. We really appreciated that. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a big group and especially one that wants to spend a lot of time outside because of all the fun outdoor space it provides."
