Folley cabin is a great property in the heart of the village close to everything (whether summer or winter) with great views and peaceful surrounds. 10 out of 10.
Very nice house. Easy to drive to it. Clean!
Enough room to spread out and relax. We will enjoy coming in the summer to sit on two spacious decks and watch wildlife.
The lot is wonderful! My husband and I spent hours on the large wrap around deck - enjoying the scenery and wildlife.
The open floor plan is very inviting, especially with the fireplace in the middle; the pool table was also fun for us after it became too chilly to enjoy the deck.
We have already talked about visiting this specific property again.
We had a wonderful time at this house. Plenty of space, beautiful views and really enjoyed all the wildlife that was visible from the patios. Great access for our dogs and 3 year old son. Will come back again, hopefully in the winter. Highly recommended, only issue were lots of flies and bugs inside the house... Had to sweep up the dead flies a few times during our stay
Great neighborhood, great location. House was very roomy for our family. Views were amazing. I would have given a five star but what I read about the house in epi ur reviews is true, furniture and beds not very comfortable. That is truely the only issue we had. Other the. That the place is amazing.
The view from the deck is beaautiful. The furniture could use an upgrade, very uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious and all bathrooms have ample towels. The tv downstairs is the size of a laptop screen. One of the sofas downstairs would be better suited moved upstairs. The futon upstairs is very uncomfortable and has a tear in one of the cushions. We left early, just too unomfortable. Wouldn't stay here again.
This is a beautiful and unique property which could easily house many more than our group of four (2 couples). Beautiful views and surroundings but the home lacked comfortable furnishings in common areas (main living, lower level gameroom and both upper and lower decks). Furnishings were sparse and uncomfortable. Outdoor furniture consisted of uncomfortable metal dining tables and chairs with no cushions. A view like that is begging for comfortable seating and chaise lounges (think of the gorgeous afternoon naps and nighttime stargazing that could have been happening!
). And indoors there wasn’t any comfortable seating for our small group of four. One uncomfortable sofa and some wooden arm chairs. Also there was an old broken chair that had a pillow on it, covering a huge hole in the leather seat. No TV at all in the lower level game room and the TV in main living area was tiny by today’s standards. Kitchen was equipped but very unorganized and only 1 dish towel for the entire week. W/D was appreciated, plenty of bath linens for the four of us. Also the small fenced area was great for our two dogs. Cleanliness wasn’t great as we found a lot of dirt on floors/carpets the first day. If the owners would upgrade the furnishings in and out, organize the kitchen and get a better cleaning crew they could definitely increase the rates. We’d be happy to go there again IF these suggestions were implemented because of the beautiful surroundings.
We renting this house for a nutural location for our family Christmas. (family drove in from Denver, Arizona, and Texas) Everything was great! The kitchen was stocked with most everything you would need for cooking for a large group, (needs a pasta spoon!) I packed based on previous reviews, however, there were plenty of pots/pans and baking dishes. I really didn't need to bring any of those things. The furniture was difficult to find a comfortable place to hang out. We played a lot of games with the family and as long was you don't mind using the dining room table for seating, you are fine. The main living room furniture was not comfortable, looks nice but not great for large families to hang out and lay around. Lots of beds and room for everyone to have their own private space. We saw lots of deer and birds. We didn't get any snow while we were there but the back porch looks over a small hill that all the adults and kids enjoyed sledding down from previous snow storms. We left the sleds there for the next family to enjoy! They do sell them at Lowes in town if you need more. Groceries were easy to find but there is only ONE store in town, small and also has gas. They did sell out of things fast while we were there and we went back every day to ensure we got what we needed for the planned meals for the group. It's only a 5 min drive into town but if you want something "special" it might be easier to just bring it with you. Common items were easy to get, cheese, meats, milk, bread, chips, etc.
This is the most amazing property! An architectural beauty! Extremely spacious, with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms with king beds are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom and upstairs loft with twin beds are less comfortable. Also, pull out sofa and futon in the playroom are mediocre. We have 12 people in our family, and with boy/girl mixture of children, one ended up on the floor. However, the uniqueness of this property makes it well worth the stay. Lovely porches surround the back area on the first and second floors…perfect for spring/summer visits. Mountain scenery enhances the view of the living area. Three full baths and a powder room were ample for everyone’s use. Television is only provided through streaming apps, so bring your passwords with you. Instructions for the fireplace and heating/air thermostats would be helpful. Ample parking for three to four vehicles.
