We loved our stay at Cabin in the Woods! It was perfect for our family of 6. Deer came up every day, has a beautiful view, front porch for sitting & an easy drive to the slopes but away from crowd!
Very pleasant, easy to find. Great info re medical. Kitchen well stocked. Great getaway

Beautiful, Relaxing and Peaceful Stay
We had a family get together here and it was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was so quite and peaceful. Lots of birds singing, deer in the yard every day. I am so glad we did this. I would recommend this place to everyone. I hope we can do it again some day.

Cabin in the woods
We found the property to be as represented and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. Native wildlife was great to see...we saw elk, muledeer, a variety of birds and cute chipmonks!! Star gazing was perfect! Definitely would recommend this property to friends and family.

We had a wonderful visit to Angel Fire and enjoyed this cabin. It is very well located and well appointed. Great bunk room for kids! We enjoyed the hiking, zip lining, parade and fireworks. Visited Red River for the day and enjoyed that as well. Lot's to do in the Angel Fire, Red River, Toas circle.

Very nice, clean and relatively new cabin with all the amenities. Would stay there again.
Only 1 minor issue:
The Dish Network satellite package is barebones. After long day of hiking we wanted to kick back and watch MNF, but no ESPN!!
Cabin in the woods was a pleasant stay. Very quiet location, beautiful scenery. We arrived on a day where it had just snowed and roads and curves were a bit tricky at night, but totally worth it. Very spacious and clean. Kids were able to play outside in the snow. Well equipped; Keurig, coffee pot, microwave, dishware, etc. Very thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here.

Enjoyable stay at the cabin in the woods.
We loved our stay at your cabin. Definitely coming back! Thank you for the awesome rate and hopefully next time we go we will be able to stay longer than 2 nights. Everything we needed was in the cabin and we left it as clean as we found it. We had a hard time finding it the first night because we got there about 9pm, but I was really satisfied with the way prudential set it up for after hours. Like I said enjoyable vacation, beautiful cabin, and an awesome time. Thank you
Wonderful house! I was so excited from the minute we pulled up to the house. It is very well stocked, clean and cozy. The ski slopes are a quick 5 minute drive away. Our little girls loved playing in the snow in the back yard. We defintely felt like we were in a secluded cabin in the woods.
Mr. Countryman, we thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home and we appreciate your hospitality!
Beautiful area. A bit too close to other cabins. Was told no pets allowed, yet saw several dogs. Old pillows, old mattresses with a rank smell in the bedrooms. Nice towels, but more kitchen ones needed. Stove in poor shape. Could have stayed in a nice hotel for the price. Would stay elsewhere next visit.
Cabin in the Woods- is a great cozy cabin to host 10-12 friends and family members, with great access to Angel Fire (8 minute drive), nature, and amenities. Cabin in the Woods had a well stocked kitchen of appliances, and cookware to sever dinners. The kids enjoyed playing games, sitting by the fire, and accessed the wifi, Roku Fire Stick for entertainment without any issues. If you have kiddos or teens who love bunk beds, this cabin is for you. The cabin was clean, well stocked with basic amenities, and cozy. If your planning a ski trip getaway for a few days, the Cabin In the Woods is a good spot to visit.
The check in process was seamless. We received an email with the code and contact # for any questions. The cabin was clean and loaded with all kitchen utensils. The Alexa was nice, the televisions have firestick. There is a wood burning fireplace. They provided wood during our stay. We saw lots of Mule deer that came up around our cabin. The location is minutes from Angel Fire shopping, grocery and the Angel Fire Ski Resort. We would definitely come back to this cabin. 3 bed room 2 bath. The upstairs is the the master with 1 bath. This cabin sleeps 8.

Wonderful and relaxing
Angel Fire's Cabin in the Woods is wonderful and relaxing; there is something for every one to do. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. I enjoyed sitting on the big porch watching deer and elk graze in the front yard. Birds and squirrels flew and ran all over the place. The cabin had plenty of utensils, dishes and cooking pans. I will probably be returning next year since this is the best rental place I have ever found. Thanks to Greg for renting his cabin. I spent most of my morning and afternoons fishing at Eagle Nest Lake. I caught some of the largest trout ever this year. We also enjoy driving the Enchanted Circle, stopping at the fish hatchery, D. H. Lawrence's ranch, the Vietnam Memorial, and shopping in Red River and Taos, where the Kit Carson museum is located.

Our family went on our fi...
Our family went on our first ski trip. We stayed with some friends in the Cabin in the Woods. When we first arrived there was very little snow and we were worried the skiing may not be so good. We were very impressed when we arrived at the cabin. All accomodations were more than acceptable. Even the kitchen was furnished with more than we have seen at other rental properties. The setting was beautiful, especially after 52" of snow fell during our stay. So needless to say there was more than enough snow for skiing and playing. The woods behind the cabin were beautiful with all the snow that fell. We look forward to coming back in the summer season and eventually again during skiing season. The owner of this cabin has been so generous and very helpful when we had questions. He provided us with more than enough information for our trip, since we had not skied before. Our trip was memorable for so many reasons and it was nice to have a great place to stay.

Peaceful Gateway
it is a very quiet and peaceful cabin. The first morning I was awaken at about 6:30 with the bugling of an elk. I got up in a hurry and opened the curtain to see the biggest bull elk I have ever seen along with his harem. We saw deer in the yard everyday. We especially enjoyed the doe with her two fawns, who visited every day. The cabin was well stocked with dishes and appliances. There was plenty of food items and spices. The cabin is back from the main road, so it is very quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the big porch and watching the birds and squirrels. It has plenty of parking and is easy to get in the cabin. We enjoyed fishing at Monte Verde Lake and Eagle Nest Lake and caught a lot of fish. We took trips to Red River, Taos, and other destinations along the Enchanted Circle Drive. We really enjoyed our stay even though we had to leave two weeks early because of an emergency at home. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Peaceful Time
The cabin and area was very peaceful and quiet. The first morning we were there we were awaken at about 6:30 with the bugling of an elk. I got up quickly and opened the curtain to see the biggest bull elk and his harem. We saw deer everyday in the yard. We particularly liked the doe and her two fawns that visited us daily. The cabin is well stocked with food and spices. There are plenty of dishes and appliances. The cabin is located back from the main road, so it is quiet. There is plenty of parking space, and it is easy to get in the cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the big porch watching the birds and squirrels. We enjoyed fishing at Monte Verde Lake and Eagle Nest Lake, where we caught a lot of fish. We took trips to Red River, Taos, and followed the Enchanted Circle for a historical journey. We really enjoyed our stay even though we had to cut our stay short two weeks because of an emergency at home. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.
We had 12 family members enjoy our time in Angel Fire.
The cabin was clean and beautiful. It was off a quiet road. Deer would come up to us and eat from our hands. We spent a lot of time on the big front porch.
I would have liked a picnic table out by the grill. We ate our meals inside at the big dinning room table.
We were looking for a cabin in Red River but came across this one. Red River was terribly busy. It was refreshing to come home to this beautiful cabin.
This is a great place to stay! There was 9 of us and a baby and there was plenty of room. It was great to enjoy the beautiful view and watch all of the wildlife!!
All was as indicated on the listing, however the only negative was that there is no air conditioning and it was hot during our stay. The listing does not state it has air conditioning, so it was as publicized.
This cabin was great!! Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. However there were only 7 bath towels for a place that sleeps 12 so we had to go buy laundry soap and do towels a couple of times everyday to have enough for everyone to shower. Everything else was great!! Peaceful neighborhood with lots of deer! Would definitely rent again.
The cabin provided good sleeping accommodations for our kids and grand kids. They all enjoyed playing in the snow at the cabin. Deer came right up too the cabin for some great photos.
