Spacious, comfortable 2-story home nestled among aspens and firs provided a natural retreat setting. Home is on a quiet neighborhood road which was great for taking walks. Home is very close to the well-stocked grocery store which was very comvenient. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were adequately stocked and comfortable. . Pots & pans in kitchen showed a lot of wear so new frying pans are recommended. Outside porch provided a quiet place to view deer, squirrels, woodpeckers and nightly stars. Would rent this home again. Very satisfied.

My time in Angel Fire

The house was warm and cozy. The views were amazing.Everything worked and the comfort of home was at our fingertips. A place to stay to get to the village quickly, the slopes, and hiking/snowshoeing availability outside the door.

Location Perfect! House Precious! Pictures do not do justice to how phenomenal this cabin is! Easy access. Close to town yet feels secluded. We absolutely will return asap! To the host, thank you for having us.

Great time in Angel Fire

We had a great time. The house was great. Very peaceful with deer hanging out daily. Close to everything in town. Would definitely stay here again if back in town.

4 nights in Angel Fire

We absolutely loved the location and sitting out on the deck enjoying the cooler evenings. We saw so many deer, squirrels, hummingbirds and prairie dogs. There is a hiking trail just down the road a bit in lovely greenspace. It is also very close to the Lowe's Supermarket which made it very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin in a great location, we had a blast

The cabin was just as described. Everything was very clean and the location of the cabin is perfect. You are literally 5 minutes from everything. My only knock was their internet. Wasn’t a huge deal as we were on the mountain all day but if you are looking to relax for a few minutes and watch Netflix, it continuously had to buffer.

Cozy

This was such a cozy placed, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, but close enough to everything to be convenient. They kids loved having a yard to play in, and the adults enjoyed the view. It was a great place to make memories.

Great Getaway

Great house located very conveniently to town and surrounded by beautiful trees. Super comfortable beds and can easily sleep 8+. Lovely deck to watch the wildlife. Definitely recommend.

Great location

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location of the property was great - very easy access to the ski slopes and the grocery store. The space was plenty for our party of 6. The communication with the owner was quick and made our stay worriless. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. My recommendation will be to supply a few newer pans since the one that were available were all scratched off.

Location and privacy of the property were excellent. No grill and no firewood were minor inconveniences. Cookware was a little sketchy, but manageable. The house was very comfortable and I would like to stay there again.

One of the BEST places we have ever stayed at!

The cabin is amazing. So clean, unbelievable stocking of the kitchen, all the way to baggies! The deer that came were so friendly. The trees and the entire area is beautiful! John was a such a great host. He answered any questions we had in seconds, this was our second stay here. And won’t be our last, I’m sure.

Ski trip

We had a great time! We arrived and the home was not cleaned but John made sure to make it right ASAP. That’s the only reason I wrote the cleanliness wasn’t perfect. We loved the home and it was our second stay there and hopefully we will be there next year.

Peaceful Chalet in the Woods

This chalet is so lovely! It's nestled in the woods, where we enjoyed seeing deer most every day. It's easy access to a number of hiking trails, and a short distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, and Frontier Park ... where we enjoyed the Artisan Market and food trucks. The house itself, is cozy and welcoming. But, it is spacious enough where a larger group would not feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and everything needed when you feel like cooking. We loved the opportunity to relax, without the hustle and bustle ... and hope to stay on this property again.

Good place to stay

Overall good, the cabin had a great layout, but we felt like it wasn’t super clean. Wi-Fi was extremely slow. We’ve stayed elsewhere in Angel Fire where it was much faster, so not sure why that is. Cabin had a decent amount of things, but coffee maker didn’t work and there was no soap in one of the bathrooms, also tons of spiders. The location of the cabin is beautiful.

Christmas Getaway

It is a very nice cabin, master bedroom was great, our two boys stayed in the loft area on the two twin beds. Family was in other two bedrooms. The only problem was no measuring cups or measuring spoons. Also, the ashes from the previous tenants was left in a bucket on the front porch. It was a wonderful time had by all. We will try to book again. Kids had a blast with all the deer we saw that would walk right up to you. It is a great cabin for 8 people.

Good Stay Overall with Some Areas for Improvement

We enjoyed our stay and found this property to be in a great location that worked well for our family. The layout was convenient, and the setting was beautiful. However, there are a few areas that could use attention. The living room furniture is dated and could benefit from some updates for added comfort. The kitchen was stocked with very random items—some basics like pots, pans, and essential cooking utensils were missing and/or old and which made meal prep a bit challenging. Also, a heads-up for future guests: the driveway is extremely steep. On icy nights, we needed tire chains to make it up safely. That said, the property met our needs, and we had a good time overall. With a few updates and some attention to details, this place could be truly fantastic! ---
