"I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel."

The retreat features beautiful lakes where you can catch your own trout — a fun and rewarding experience. The onsite restaurant was a standout, showcasing premium trout and lamb sourced directly from the working farm, along with other high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. "Large, clean and comfortable room with good facilities. Nice balcony to look out over the golf course, where we had wine & nibbles and when the golfers had left, the rabbits and kangaroos came out. We had dinner downstairs in the RACV restaurant one night and dinner in Creswick. Lovely town. Great weekend"
