"Staying in Motovun is a wonderful experience. The history, beauty, and pleasant people make it magical. The hotel sits at the very top of the hill. You have to leave your car at the specified parking lot and walk up. However, after you check in they will provide you with transportation to retrieve your luggage from your car so you don’t have to carry it up the hill. "

"A very homey, charming cottage in the mountains. Nice views from the windows. You can walk through the olive groves or pick grapes from the arbor. Appears to be built like a duplex with owner's area to one side. As others stated, no access to the pool/terrace area from inside the house. Nice fireplace - it was chilly during our stay. Comfortable beds. We did not realize until arrival that this is the center of truffle production in Croatia. A restaurant in town serves 15 kinds of dishes with black or white truffles, including ice cream! Montevun is a short drive."
