"I was double charged by Expedia - they scam and when double charged take for ever to repay the money. I am waiting now to be refunded for the double charge but have not heard back from them although me email to Expedia was on March 25, 2026.. Dodgy slippery company- "

"We had a couple of nights in luxury at this spa hotel. It is well appointed with good communal areas and plenty of facilities. The rooms are clean and have a fridge and tea/coffee facilities as well as a safe. There is the spa which is free to use but you pay for massages which has an indoor/outdoor pool plus sauna and steam room. There are numerous outdoor pools plus games areas. There is a private beach with adult only area and a large beach bar and restaurant. The main restaurant is a buffet with lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a number of speciality restaurants. There is also a patisserie. "

"Leyla in guest services and Alpine and Mehmet at the front desk made great efforts to adjust for a slight booking error by Expedia. Many of the staff speak english and the rest have a wonderful smile and pleasant manner - charades to communicate for a back up plan - all good. The food is off the charts, lots of fresh salads and deserts. Plenty of main course choices and although not much of a drinker myself - decent beer and wine. The are feels safe for a walk in the neighbourhood or along the Mediterranean shore. "

"My wife surprised me with a holiday to the Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort for my 50th birthday. We just got back today, and I am only giving this resort a 5 star rating because there isn’t an option for a 10star!!! I am well travelled, and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The food and service was amazing, room spotless! We began to experience their stellar service from the booking process up until after we got back, and yes, that included the VIP fast track service through the airport that made us feel really special. Our Maxx Assistants were seriously on the ball, and throughout our experience, they thought about what we needed or wanted before we even knew it ourselves. We were presented with a pillow and room fragrance menu, to test and pick from when we checked into our room, and the level of attention to detail by the cleaners and night turn down service was outstanding! All the staff bring their A game & go many extra miles to make sure that your experience is unmatched. We had the best Maxx assistants that we could have asked for. Behind the scenes unknown to me, our assistants Behnam & Aleksandra helped my wife to put together a video of birthday tributes from friends and family across the world which were played to me in a private cinema setting, when all along I thought it was a movie we were going to watch. This experience left me in tears!!! This place is very family friendly, so we’ll be going back with my family this year! 10 star!!!"

"I liked this place. My two main criticisms would be: 1. The room was quite noisy until about midnight as I think it was above a bar that was used for after show dj entertainment. That wasn't great for a sleeping small child. 2. Despite turkish cuisine being rich and flavoursome, like a lot of AI hotels, the buffet food merged into one flavour. So much so, I ate out locally. In addition, it's unusual to stay at an AI hotel for over a week and not be offered the chance for some kind of a la carte dining."
