My first evening there I sat alone at a bar with my dad. It took the bartender 45 min to pour a beer. Telling us to wait our turn. Treated us like school children even asking for water. Others soon joined the bat ground as he informed who was first for water. My goodness 14 min for a beer in tap. With only one table in the restaurant. He was also rude and standoffish. I woke up at 745 to loud thuds and construction. I formed staff I have a son with ASD and loud sudden noises can trigger him. Well that’s what we got. It was so bad I had to stay another night. Asking for a room away from the parking lot and they put us right back there. I also noticed that we were the only native Alaskan guests in the entire hotel. I would hope that that had nothing to do with the treatment of us. Our card was double charged also. Honestly the restaurants were nothing special and the hotel was dirty. It has gone down hill so much it’s sad

Great place to get away... The hotel was excellent, not much around and the dining quality was good but just a few options for a short trip, not a big deal. The staff was great and the rooms were very nice. Like skiing and beautiful views, this is the place to stay.

Poor customer service and communication. Very dismissive staff, and not engaged. Huge ski race in town. Next time put all the TEENAGERS that aren't supervised (how is this allowed ever!!) on the same floor, not all throughout the hotel disrupting guests wanting a true vacation. Hotel is going through a big rehaul renovation - will be good once its done, outdated now. Good thing for the facelift! Sakura is delicious and the nordic spa is great! Great access to the ski hill.

Room was very comfortable and clean. View from our room was phenomenal! Staff offered to add us to a call list for northern lights or other nice views. We weren't lucky enough for northern lights to come out during our stay, but it was a nice service to offer!

Beautiful, both in setting and establishment. Will return. Amenities and direction are difficult to define for 1st timers. Concierge is, well not the best. But, its a Great place.

Can't beat location! Ski vallet for all your equipment was great. You don't need reservations anymore for pool/hot tub. Great experience with staff. Glad I brought my own pillow... that was probably the biggest complaint of my family so not bad.

I got Charged TWICE for Resort Fees. One for Check In, second one at Check Out. The Thermostat was useless, i wanted a warmer room but it would not raise the temperature no matter how many times trying to change the temperature.

Alyeska has always been a staple for our family. It’s a beautiful restore and the staff is amazing! My only complaints are the restaurant food quality isn’t amazing and our room had lukewarm water in the shower.

Nice hotel and lodge, feels grand on the inside. Ski shop, rentals, multiple restaurants. The food is decent, certainly good for a fairly remote lodge, but the staff is a little slow at times. On the negative side, the Japanese restaurant, is a bit offputting with how they handle reservations – they don't really take them, so you are supposed to go to the greeter and ask for a table, then they tell you it will be xx minutes. But if you are in the hotel with few options, why not just take the reservation?

They really need to upgrade the windows overlooking the mountain from the hot tub. The Sitzmark is showing a lot of wear and tear but I am not complaining. The mountain was in great shape and it's a great atmosphere. Nice to see everyone enjoying the great outdoors

Nice hotel and got to use the Spa Facilities. Just make sure before you schedule ask the hotel if they give discounts if you are staying at the hotel too. Also last note, if you want a massage to schedule early because they book up fast! Other than that Alyeska Hotel is beautifully decorated and full of amenities.

Gorgeous property surrounded by trees and mountains and easy access to the gondola for skiing. Rooms were older but the rest of the hotel is beautiful.

Loved the winter mountain setting. The hotel has continued to decline. Rooms dirty. Very few dining options if you arrive in the evening. Overall price very high for the quality of the accommodations

Lovely Place!!
What a lovely place! We totally enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very pleasant and one of the best beds and pillows I have had at a hotel yet! They kept the heat at 73… a bit warm for us, but the fan made it pleasant. We skiied 2 days and used our IKON pass to access the tram after skiing.
