Location is good; parking, wi-fi, and room are sufficient. Hosts are delightful and breakfast is generous and tasty. What was really disappointing was the big beautiful bathtub that inspired my booking was out of order, with no obvious intention of having it repaired. Our room was to the front of the house and was well-lit all night. The bed was comfy but worn.

Our host, Catherine, provided wonderful hospitality; she was incredibly kind and attentive, and the interior décor was stylish and lovely. Breakfast included hot scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage. She also gave us plenty of advice on sightseeing in Anchorage. It was a comfortable stay. This is a location best visited by car.

The property is immaculate. The rooms have been beautifully decorated and have comfortable beds and nicely crafted wooden furniture. Breakfast was delicious. The owners have taken the time to attend to every detail. I will definitely look for openings here the next time I’m staying in Anchorage.

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. I hope our next one is just a nice as this one was! Breakfast was Amazing the beds were super comfortable excellent water pressure for the shower! Extremely clean, easy to get to and from with a Lyft.

If you are looking for a relaxing escape, this is it! The property is gorgeous and quiet. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even helping us plan our day with local tips. We loved Deal' Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a coffee maker, refrigerator, fans, air condition/ heat controls, and our own restroom. The breakfasts were delicious and hands down beat the free breakfast at the Hilton brand hotels where we generally stay. Each morning we got to meet new people from around the country at breakfast which made the morning even more enjoyable. The neighborhood is safe and close to the airport, but you don't hear the airplanes. Parking is free. The home is decorated like I would expect a bed and breakfast in Alaska to be decorated. There are themes of the Alaskan wilderness and wildlife throughout the house. The home is quaint and lovely. The best part of all is Kathryn. She was a most gracious hostess who made sure we were taken care of during our three day stay. Kathryn also gave us maps and ideas of places to see while we were in Anchorage. We are so pleased we chose to stay at the Deal's Bed & Breakfast.

Staying with the Deals was one of the highlights of our stay in Alaska. The facilities were ideal for our party of four. Beds were more than comfortable, breakfast was first rate, and the conversations were motivating. From stories about their experiences as homesteaders in Alaska, to the local recommendations, they were wonderful hosts! Hope we can return someday.

I don't know if I will visit Anchorage again, but it would be worth a trip just to stay with the Deals. They came to Alaska in 1964, just after the earthquake, and they have many fascinating stories to tell. Such lovely people! Besides which, our room was beautiful and spotless, breakfast was great, plenty of parking if you have a car, very convenient location.

It looks like just a split-level house, but Mr. and Mrs. Deal have turned it into a lovely oasis for visitors. They recommended Sofia's for lunch, an easy mile walk, and the food there is amazing. Mrs. Deal very kindly agreed to hold most of our luggage while we did a train ride to Seward for an overnight stay. She even put together a perfect brown bag breakfast since we were leaving so early. Our room is lovely and the bed is very comfortable. The entire house is spotless. I highly recommend Deals B&B.

This is a 1970’s era home and the decor has never been updated. It’s very tired looking. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, so that was a plus. Breakfast was just adequate and I expected more from a bed and breakfast. The owners are lovely and helpful, but as an older couple, they struggled with technology and are having a hard time maintaining the property as there are visible repairs that need to be made. Unfortunately, I feel this place had its best days years ago.
